Do you follow an aerobic dvd? If so, which one? Ive been going on my cross trainer on alternate days, and speed walking down the couuntry lanes near my house. Glad no one can see me doing that! :rotfl:

I do a mix of walking, DVDs or kinect games, swimming and cycling, depending on my mood and the time I have available. I like Joanna Hall DVDs when I'm feeling lazy and Jillian Michaels when I'm not.

I have to admit that the bulk of my exercise is brisk walks, just because life is so busy. I don't need to drive anywhere which saves time, plus OH usually joins me so we get time to chat.

The walks here are very public and busy so I'll pass on the speed walking for now. :o:rotfl:

    all this talk of games.
seriously,if you want to get in shape
games are not really the way to do it.
yeah you may work up a bit of a sweat, improve some muscle
but yu can spend that tie more effectivly

It depends what you call effective. I would argue that life is short and I'd rather do something I enjoy for 200 hours than something effective but boring for 100 hours. Chances are you'd get at least the same fitness results, just a bit more slowly.

To my mind life is for living, I want to be healthy but if I can achieve that whilst having fun, it's a win-win situation. We could all learn a lot from the people of Okinawa, generally accepted as some of the healthiest and long lived people on earth.
