Derby or East Midlands Airport. The circuit is close to the junction of the M1 and A50
  • I've put the post code in and it takes me towards derby. Thanks for this - we'd have never have got there otherwise!!! :D

There are two small areas of stands on the start/finish line. One is for sponsor only and I think the other maybe first come first served. On Saturday you should be OK getting a seat but for Sunday, if you aint there when it start you will be lucky. People mainly take either a camping chair or just a rug. If it aint raining, I would go for the latter as you can easily carry to a different spot. The main grassy area overlooks the rear of the circuit and many people like it here because you get a good view of the racing and its near the beer tent!

Thanks for this info... we have just been given some tickets off freecycle and was wondering what was there. Really useful information.

    EM xx

We are making a weekend of it and staying at a nearby camp site - £40 for the whole family for the whole weekend starting on Friday night. Totally a bargain weekend.
That's what we are doing, LOL bet it's the same campsite icon12.gif

LOL there is another Donnington that's near Newbury, and my guess is that you would have been sat on the grass verge on the side of the A34 near a burger van wondering when the Renault Megane race was starting ;):rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

  • Hi all

We're off to Donnington tomorrow, can't wait sounds like a great day out.

I wondered if anyone could tell me is there any chance that we might not get in? we probably won't get there til around 11am

What time does the event finish on the Saturday?

Any ideas of times where the traffic is at its worst?

    Thanks.
