well to be honest im not worried about getting out ! Like the Dina said, take some food, and stroll out slowly !
Im more interested in getting in quickly, any advice on this ?0 -
Just realised from reading another forum, that we never received our World Series tickets. My husband applied for, and got an email confirming, two tickets, and so did I.
When I tried to email back to the address the confirmation email came from, it bounced back as unuseable, or something like that.
Does anyone know of a contact email address or phone number for us to chase these tickets up? Hope we're not too late
If you are still without tickets, PM me your details, and i will post you some tickets, as Renualt sent me two lots for some reason!0 -

We aimed to get in for 9am last year and got in around 10.30am. If you aim for 8ish you should be ok. If you see me barbi'ing, wander accross and say hello. I'll stick an extra couple of sausages on for you!! We are making a weekend of it and staying at a nearby camp site - £40 for the whole family for the whole weekend starting on Friday night. Totally a bargain weekend.0 -
Hi, Just wondered if anyone has had to cancel for any reason, if they booked any tent pitches and not notified the campsite to cancel. there maxed out everywhere in the area. any help would be great.
Thanks

Anybody who applied and didn't get any tickets, this is now on the website:
Thank you for your interest.
This close to the event, we are unable to deal with any more applications for tickets. If you have been lucky enough to get tickets, we look forward to seeing you at Donington Park on 8th and 9th September.
If you have applied for but have not received your tickets before 8th September, please go directly to the entrance gates at Donington Park where the staff will be more than happy to issue new ones.
World Series by Renault
PS: Don't forget, children under 16 do not require a ticket, but must be accompanied by an adult.
So looks like you can just get them on the day.0 -
There is a way of getting involved in motorsports and being part of the action for free - marshalling. You would be involved in dealing with any incidents in the sector you're working at. You don't have a say in where you'll end up though.
I've been doing it for 13 years now. It's without doubt the best thing I have done. I play a vital role in the sport that I love. I've been involved in everything from club sprints to the Grand Prix and Silverstone.
It's a voluntary position and you have to buy your own equipment. In the long run, you can save a fortune on entry costs though.
If you are interested, contact your local circuit and ask for the chief marshal or go to https://www.marshals.co.uk0 -

Hi everyone, i ordered some tickets ages ago but non have arrived and to be honest i forgot about and just remembered by reading this, i could do with 2 tickets if anyone has spares or is unable to go. PM if you have that would be great.
Thanks

There was a small bit of seating near the start/finish line last year. The rest was just grass and sit where you like, so it's probably best to take a chair/blanket
And take your own toilet roll.Murphy's No More Pies Club #209
