AAAGGGHHHH

It's Donington!
.....

• I really hope everyone that goes has a fantastic time, but I will not be attending this year

BECAUSE

Last year the trying to leave the car park was a horrendous experience and ruined the day as it took 2 HOURS to leave. The parking attendants who had been there directing the cars on arrival had all mysteriously vanished into thin air and it was a complete free for all with all that stupid one mile and hour I'm the invisible car I won't let you in etc..

I made every attempt to contact Renault UK to give them some genuine feedback about the event and this proved impossible as they don't have a head office E Mail address..

At the end of it spite of it being a freebie I came away thing in spite of Renault spending thousands on the event..crape organisation and you can't contact them direct if you had a problem after buying one of their cars!

Just realised from reading another forum, that we never received our World Series tickets. My husband applied for, and got an email confirming, two tickets, and so did I.

When I tried to email back to the address the confirmation email came from, it bounced back as unuseable, or something like that.

Does anyone know of a contact email address or phone number for us to chase these tickets up? Hope we're not too late :(

Just received an email from Renault. If you have not received your tickets - here's what to do. (and I think it applies if you didnt apply and now want to go):

"If you have not received your World Series Tickets, please email us at: wsr@gatepost.net. to ensure that we deal with your request correctly, please state your name, address, telephone number and requested ticket quantity.e not yet received your World Series tickets, please email us at: wsr@gatepost.net

e look forward to welcoming you to a great weekend at Donington.
Best wishes,

Can anyone who went last year spare some advice.

Whats it like getting in ? is the traffic very heavy. We have a couple of hours drive to get there so the last thing i want is 2 hours sat in a traffic jam when i get close.

From what i can tell the programme starts at 9am on the saturday, but does anyone know what time the gates open, and what time one should aim to get there to avoid too much traffic ?

Any info greatfully received.

Last year the traffic was very heavy getting in (took us about an hour more than it should have done to get there) , and as the above poster said - a nightmare to get out - but it didnt spoil our day. This year we are taking a bbq to have back at the car before we leave - so that everybody should have gone by the time we try to get out. We set off The weather was fabulous last year so we are hoping for more of the same this year. Remember your suncream!! Also take lots to drink as it can be pricey. They have a merchandise tent which is a bit pricey too, but last year my dd bought a T shirt and they threw in 2 free ones! They also gave away a lot of posters and DVD's, CD Roms etc. All the family thought it was a good day out.

what time did you arrive, we are aiming to be there for about 8am. Is that early enough to miss the traffic ??? or is earlier necessary ?, and all round to yours for a BBQ after

The traffic wasn't bad last year! It took 10 mins to get out maximum.
