  • Went to Donington today, brilliant but tiring! Got there about 8.30am, went straight in with no queues. Got free radio, pen, rugby ball stress reliever, keyring, lanyard, baseball cap, stickers, posters. Kids had great fun collecting autographs from anyone in a race suit! Left about 5pm, had to queue for about 40 mins to get back to M1. Would imagine tomorrow will be much busier, well worth walking round to Starkey's bridge to watch the racing as most people didn't bother walking so far so was less crowded.
  • Great freebie, went early got there at 8.45am but left early as we had other things to do, little bit of a mistake as the traffic was awful, no getting around it, the people going to donington were blocking the people going the other way, big circle and everyone was blocking one another, pretty mad, but got out in the end! great day other than the traffic

We set off at 10.15 and our 1hr 15minute journery took 2 hours. Brill day (our 3rd visits) Kids got a bag full of freebies.. Stayed till the end and the best racing of the afternnon (Clios-other wise known as nutter on wheels). Coming out was no problmes and 1hr 20 minutes later we were home and looking forward to next year.
  • fab day, worn out though, thanks OP x
If you don't have something nice to say don't bother saying anything at all.
  • Took 3 hours to travel the 20 minutes to Donnington from junction 25 of the M1. Gave up and came home. Someone hasn't organised this properly!

  • lol. i was on my way with the family got to the a50 and its was gridlocked.... for miles and miles... i think it was also because the McAnns were coming into east mids... lol we turned off and went to matlock instead... it was a nightmare... i really wanted to go aswell... my brother went thoug... little fag! and had a great time so... owell... always next year... we should write to the renault people and ask for some road organisation and mabye different access points to try and lower the traffic..
