I have some 5x7 inch photos that I was going to reprint to 6x4 inch to fit my albums but I've decided just to cut them to size. Losing a bit of the background won't hurt. Very MSE :p

i've got a lovely long to do list, i'm the queen of to do lists. I set the alarm and started in the bedroom and i've now done my side, the easy side. I'm gonna make some lunch then tackle OH's side and the wardrobe - may not make it out alive!
I'm also a good one for filling laundry baskets with rubbish, i've got two and try and make sure there's at least one i can use for laundry. Now i need to empty the other one so i can use it for laundry again.

my decluttering week a few weeks ago has paid off - my house is so much easier to keep tidy! my best friend has been round for lunch with her family - she lives away and has been visiting family in the area. it is the first time she has visited this house and she complimented me on my minimalist uncluttered style .. didnt say she should have seen it a fortnight ago!!

You lot are wearing me out reading about all your de-cluttering.............lol

Had change of plan this afternoon when ex foster girl took me round second hand shop.............came back with a candle..............lol But, she relieved me of an old chair in the garage I forgot I'd got and the drawer thingy that I wanted shot of so thats two more things less...............not a lot but, well its something.

Haven't seen the bed settee yet due to being out but I know its there under the cat.......................skeleton leaves don't want to stick on my plant trough and if I dab them with a cloth and catch it on the paint, that comes off !!!
Work now not in progress any more till tomorrow otherwise stress levels will soar....................

    Hi,

Cam i join you?? I started my clearout last week and upto now i have taken 6 bags of clutter to the charity shop, 5 to the tip and i have one bag to list on ebay. Yesterday i sold my son's old x-box games to my brother for £30 so that will go towards his x-box live subsription which is due next month. My next to do list:

Sort through photo's frame one's for wall's and i am going to make a montage of some favourites for a big frame i've had languishing in the wardrobe for about 5 years the rest will go in my memory box in the loft, plus bin any out of focus or less attractive one.

Take my old vinyls to the second hand record shop to see what i can get for them, they have been in the loft for about 10 years a lot of them were imports so may be worth a few quid.

Sort through the kids books they have 100's and don't read them anymore thet prefer to go to the library and choose some every week.

Go through my filling cabinet which is full of old magazines and instruction manuals for things i don't even possess anymore.

Any money i raise from e-bay will go towards a skip for the pile of rubble sat on my patio and then just need to buy the turf so the garden is ready for the kids to play on in the summer.

that will do for now anyway will keep you posted,

    Clare.x.

p.s. i am driving the OH mad i seem to be constantly walking round with a carrier bag asking do you need this can i get rid of it?

mary43 dont despair you have done some good you've gained a candle and lost two pieces of furniture to your ex foster child - at least you know they have gone somewhere where they will be used, the candle has got to take up less space than 2 pieces of furniture!!
