I offered mine twice with no takers and finally put it into the British Heart Foundation Furniture and Electrical shop.
Couldn't dump it and at least if they can't sell it I won't know, if that makes sense.

crafty scholar -None of our charity shops in town have an elect./furniture section so I'll be a bit stuck on that I can always try the don'tdumpthat site after a few days........you never know. Must keep positive..............lol

pig-pen - good luck with the curtain track............I've got a pair of curtains waiting to go up in the kitchen but to turn them up I need to get the others down to get the length right and not climbing on the worktop to do that when there's no-one here.................bound to take a tumble..............lol
    (thats my excuse...........lol)

Have cleared out the dreaded next corner on my list.............dads walking sticks -why so many ?? and got plant trough out ready to paint -that doesn't look any different (methinks I'm going to have to buy more paint and don't know what colour !!!)
So now I wish I'd never started..............in the middle of my little room I've got the plant trough stood on newspaper, and a cupboard I thought I'd better have a go at as well and that's looking c***...............I've made more mess than there was to begin with:confused:
Do I stop now..............or just have a pause for thought and carry on ????

    Ebay results please Pigpen? :D

Mary, most photo places should be able to handle transferring old slides to digital. Do you have a Jessops? I'd take them back and enquire again, things have moved on and there may be a new way to handle whatever the problem was then. Are they card mounted slides?

I've started going through some negs but got called away to help a family member with something else, so done nothing really today. Will make up for it tomorrow.

Pressure washer gone though, they turned up on the dot to collect it :D
