    Evening all!

IN: Paperwork - all interesting & necessary stuff though for work
    Nice new duvet covers

OUT: The will to live, im shattered!
A few bits of junk mail and empty plastic bottles

Ive got an interview tomorrow (for the job im doing, just a payrise :) ) against one other person so im stressing out a bit, in fairness, I probably shouldnt get stressed out about it as I know what I need to do and as im already doing the job - Im kind of in a strong position.

Anyway - im off on a tangent. Decluttering!! Right, well, after ex OH left, I spent a bit of time cleaning but didnt do any decluttering, but after this interview I intend to get right on it. I dont have an awful lot to do given I went through a decent clean up earlier this year, but I do need to organise all my drawers & cabinets, get rid of a few more things, sell everything in the loft, and 'girlify' my flat (so, get a few pink accessories or something!) a bit, so I do have a bit of a month long project to tackle. I started on the easy stuff (laundry), and will work my way up to selling stuff as this seems to be the most energy and time intensive task!

However, as im shattered, right now, im going to go to bed and have a really good sleep so I can get up early and prepare for this bloody interview!

Have a good day decluttering all!

    Jo xx

.....Does anyone know how far back these require to be kept for Income Tax purposes? Before DH retired 2 years ago he had to complete an annual Income Tax return listing all taxable income over and above his salary (he was just in the higher tax bracket). Of course, this now doesn't apply.

Think it's 6 complete tax years.....which doesn't help your decluttering much!

    Newly in :

    4 new tops for DD
    1 new hoodie for DD
1 x new purse for DD
1 x new boots for DD
    2 x tights for me
    1 x blouse for me

I went shopping for me...can anyone else see a pattern here? Now I've got to go out again tomorrow

One thing I'm proud of with DD is that although she chose the clothes, they were all in the sale (except the hoodie which is from Primark) and she bought them all in the next size up so they'll do her this year and next :money: She even looked at stuff and went "I'm not paying that for that top I can probably get it in Primark or somewhere cheaper" :D:j:j

Took a box of bits home to the family in Essex including lots of gardening stuff for my dad, a bag of bboks for my cousin, a cd player, a single duvet set, an elc nativity set, 2 borrowed books. Bunches of flowers for sister and aunt, flowers in a vase for mum, sweets for dad, pamper hamper for mum's friend's 60th bday.

Now that sounds really good but I came back with 6 books for daughter, bag of books for me, some bits of material for scrapbooking, some fake flowers, a croquet set, a big bag of outdoor games and several other bits and pieces!! Whoops!
