Dining room - 90% done. Was a lot lower before I moved paperwork out of there yesterday:D . Handful of items left in 2 cupboards
Kitchen - 90% done. Again few items left in 2 cupboards.
Dining room and kitchen now 100% done.:j I have been using the flylady thread to send me to the rooms to do, even if they were completely de-cluttered like yesterdays areas. It is working really well, as I don't stop until I've completed as much of the list as I can and stops me getting sick of it cos when I've finished that area I just stop and don't worry about the rest cos I know that I'll get to them at some point this week.
I can't believe how much tupperware I found:eek: including some of my m-i-lsI have several sandwich boxes as well as 2 rolls of tin-foil on go.
Am going to use 1 tin foil up and from then on sandwiches for packed lunches will go in boxes and foil will be left for roasts.

OUT: The disgusting, horrible, tatty shoes he's been using for gardening that are now falling apart too much for even that.
DEMOTED TO GARDENING SHOES: The somewhat scruffy shoes that the new ones have been bought to replace for wearing to the office. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

My current decluttering project is getting rids of loads of ancient bills, paperwork etc. Last night I tackled about 10 years' worth of electric/gas/phone bills etc etc. Loads of stuff for shredding (done in the industrial one at work today) and loads for the recycle box.
I still have to tackle all the main financial stuff. This includes things like share dividend payments, bank/building society yearly interest statements etc.
Does anyone know how far back these require to be kept for Income Tax purposes? Before DH retired 2 years ago he had to complete an annual Income Tax return listing all taxable income over and above his salary (he was just in the higher tax bracket). Of course, this now doesn't apply.
