missyg - thanks............I'll do that. Daren't even try and look through them at the minute..........one of...the lenses just fell out my specs - they're varifocalls and I tried to put it back in but couldn't get it right so can't wear them. found an old pair and managing with them..............should be able to get my painting finished..............lol Just daren't attempt anything else, like reading and stuff. Down the opticians I'll be on Monday and no, I didn't go to specsavers......£200 I paid !!!!! Still, I haven't got a 40 mile round trip to get them sorted. Just pop down the road and they'll fix it..............or else...............lol

Crikey pig pen......you have done well..........and I'm struggling to give stuff away on freecycle !! Just shows your stuff must be way better than my c***!!!!

Can still see ok through old specs and now waiting for paint to dry before I put skeleton leaves on then...........if OH can tear himself away from the newspaper and get the piece of wood for the top I can get that done...........bung a coat of polish on it (or maybe not ???) and job done.........then I can move on to the bed settee - it's under there somewhere:rotfl:

I hope you get your glasses fixed OK Mary.

Happily I've found the negative so I will be able to have a reprint of my missing photo. I'm going to dust off the negative scanner and see if I can get a decent neg scan myself then I can just add it to my next Photobox order in the normal way.

I knew there was a reason I kept the neg scanner ;)

So that little photo project has kept me busy for the best part of a week. Now what can I do?

i've done a bit of tidying again but feel like i just don't know where to start. I seem to keep walking back and forth between the living room and bedroom with one thing at a time and getting no where. And i've had a plumbing problem to try and sort out as well - argh!

The new curtain track is going up today.. :D

I've sorted another box of ebay stuff.. it is in the washing machine and will be listed later.. *fling*

the sofa is being collected at the back end of the week which means I have a bit longer to get it cleaned.. I bet I'm doing it as the last minute as usual!

I have filled a binbag for charity shop which can be dropped in tomorrow.. and I have 3 ebay parcels to get ready to post.

I am going to fling enough stuff out that my basket will be emptied so I can throw out my broken laundry basket and use this one.. I am ashamed to say I bought a new wash basket because my old one was full of junk.. I had 4 at one point.. 1 for wet laundry and 3 full of junk..

The "missing ebay sellers fee" has just been charged to my paypal account 4 days later than they said it had been taken! I was just starting to think I'd got away with that one :rotfl:

I have one item ending tonight, pretty sure not going to sell so that's a freecycle job next week. Well done on all yours Pigpen! My total for the month is similar to yours :D Anything I collect now can wait until a cheap listing day. Hmm, I take it your latest finds are clothes otherwise putting them in the washing machine might not be the best idea ;)

Dusted off neg scanner and after a few false starts got it working with Windows XP :j Made a beauuuuutiful scan of the pic I need, easily as good as anything a shop would have done. Lovingly retouched it to perfection and popped it in my Photobox album along with a few others that missed the big order last week. Absolutely thrilled with that, saved me a trip to the shops!

Now I need to check and re-check there are no more digital pics lurking anywhere that need printing!

Lemon Tree, oh no that aimless feeling... well, prioritise the plumbing I guess, unless you can't do anything about it on a Sunday. Maybe making a small "to do" list would help?

I have sorted through the remaining 3 boxes of ebay stuff.. my 8 boxes are now down to 4.. 2 of which are already listed. I also have stuffed the charity binbag to bursting point. I have 2 carriers for freecycle.. one of maternity stuff and one of baby girls dresses.

I also invested in some fabric yesterday.. it was £2.99m and it is Boden fabric!! The dresses they sold stil sell for about £15-£20.. I am using some for my girls but will sell what I don't use on. Though I amconsidering making some funky childrens clothing and selling those.. my little ones love their unique clothing!!

I have £11.50 still in bids on ebay and 50 things listed.. I am hoping to get at least 1 more of these boxes up this week.. but it is all going up on BIN's.

well done you lot for being so 'organised'..................well, paint is now dry.........had to think where I'd put the skeleton leaves since last weekends clear our/re-arrange but located them ok...........so, I'll finish my chocha mocha drink and get stuck in (literally!) with these leaves and my PVA..............OH still not fetched in plank of wood from garage so I can see this project lasting a day or two...............never mind............I can put it in its place, fill it with scarves/gloves in neat pile and pop my 'shabby chic' shopping bag oon the top.
Going to attempt to tie dads walking sticks up with some string -try and do a 'rustic' kind of display of them shoved up the corner.................lol

Then..................then...........I'll remove the cat.........I'm sure there's a sofa the curtains that need putting up in the kitchen, OH's tobacco, two coats, OH's football book and a wooden face thing ex foster lad got us for christmas but don't know where to put it - its bit big........
