Help....I'm running out of steam
In the last week I have done the spring cleaning and de cluttering of conservetory, kitchen, bathroom and my bedroom.....today I plan to do the spare room but I'm losing motivation
Might just give it a good tidy up and leave it to another day, I do need to do that much as I have clothes in there I can't find and I need for my holiday next week!Proud to be dealing with my debts Sealed pot challenge 180 £2 coins £184 2008 £1 a day challenge£100+ Nectar 4809/Boots 1724 Focus for 2008 Clear £1777.00 CC, [strike]£1000 [/strike]overdraft Holiday [strike]£525[/strike]:j CC recovery£976 NO SMOKING WK7 £2100 -

Pigpen I am so happy you are seeing a difference after all your hard work! Two weeks is a bit long for that Paypal transfer
Hope it's all OK.
Discount-Diva if you're off on your hols it's not surprising you're running out of steam! Just do what you need to do to get those clothes and then leave the rest until you come back! You'll have renewed enthusiasm then I'm sure!
Or how about this little trick, say to yourself you'll do ten minutes and promise you'll stop if you really aren't into it. Half the time I bet you'll carry on, it's just getting started that's the painful bit!
I seem to be on a bit of a go slow today, I'd really like to get everything listed by tomorrow evening but there's quite a lot...0 -

Missyg.. I'm sure all is fine.. just bank holidays and catching up with a backlog maybe.. I will email them if it isn't in by Friday.

Tracey04, I did 60 in a day the other week!
As I got them ready, I sorted them by size/service - letter, large letter and packet, special deliveries and also a couple of overseas.
Once I had all my letter and large letter ones, I took those to the post office, then came back and prepared the special deliveries, took those, then came back and did the packets/overseas. So I made three trips of approx 20 items each time.
Mine is a small local post office and often has just one person at the counter so it wouldn't be fair to other customers to do the full amount in one go. I quite regularly bring 10-20 items at once though and the counter staff have always been lovely.
Hope that helps, sorry to but in when the question was addressed to Chardonnay, I'm hope she'll be along soon to share her experience too0 -
Pigpen your pictures!
Amazing effort, well done you! Can really see the challenge you've had now.
Enjoy your new found space
Still plodding on with my listings here... doing mostly CDs and DVDs was so much easier than miscellaneous items that are all different categories etc! I think I'm going to call it a day after this next few and do the rest next week.0 -

Wow Pigpen that is a vast improvement!
Is that an original period feature fireplace?
Aw I hate it when they are ripped out. Sorry.
When we bought our home, the previous owners ripped out the one in the bedroom and boarded it up. We were thrilled when we discovered it at the bottom of the garden amongst a pile of rubbish.
Hubby stripped it and repainted it and it looks lovely.
Sorry for the lecture! *blush*Ageing is a privilege not everyone gets.

 Pigpen that fireplace is gorgeous you are not really ripping it out are you ?Nothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task. William James0
