Ladders and Paint went Thursday night :D, Heater went yesterday, but still left with the other stuff  I did first come first served, if I didn't get a response I passed it onto the next person. Heard back from one person about the desk (just need to arrange collection), but still waiting to hear from someone about the monitor and non-ebayable stuff has been put on as "carboot stuff" which I'm waiting to hear back on as well  Paving slabs will be going to my sister via mum & dad, and my mum is taking a portable TV off my hands as well :D FLING FLING FLING :j:j

I am ashamed to say other than general bits of rubbish I've not thrown out anything of great consequence this week.. I have been overrun with hospital appointment and other appointments and then the children finished school.

I shall go get dressed and then sort through a few more boxes from the middle room while the chook cooks.. I am aiming to sort 6 to go in the loft.. shouldn't be too hard as there is still a tonne of junk in there.

    Question..

With our 3 piece suite (1x2x3 seaters) we got a pouffe... now I LOATHE the thing.. it is huge and doesn't fit in the room and just gets in the way etc.. so... do I do what I wanted to do in the first place and freecycle it? Do I bung it in one of the childrens rooms to take up space up there or do I shut up and have it cluttering the front room??

pigpen- I'd freecycle, you say you don't like the thing and the only 2 places you mention it could go you say it would be cluttering place/getting in way - get rid:p

Despite me being nearly at the end of my de-cluttering. I still haven't finished and not sure how far I'm going to get for next fortnight with the kids off school.

    Nooooooo! :rotfl:

Take a picture of it and stick it on Ebay for £4.99 starting price - collection only on a 7 day listing. Gallery pic is free if you do it now so it will cost you only 15p to list it.

I'm gobsmacked about the old junk some people buy. I don't give anything away now without trying to sell it first.

Cheek!! It is brand new!! It has spent the last 6 months in a corner in the middle room buried under about 8ft of junk!!! I unearthed it.. tipped it on its side and shoved in an alcove today!!

I meant rather than freecycling anything - try selling it first. I've made hundreds this month with my decluttering (someone just picked up some stuff for £200 this afternoon alone).

I wasn't being personal about your taste in furniture!

Finally gotten around to getting all my stuff down from the loft ready to move...offered a few bits on freecycle and slowly filling up boxes ready for a carboot in a couple of weeks. Plus I listed two things on ebay last night...should have been more but I lost the energy. Still, plenty of things photographed and ready to go now so not all bad!
