Depends if it really happened. If the incident actually occurred, it is a matter of fact. If we are talking about proving the doorstep sales person has done something wrong, then it is as you say, an allegation.

Well I'm going to talk to my other neighbours and see what the npower salesmen said to them. I will be writing a letter of complaint though! I'm pretty sure npower won't have told their salespeople to use that line, maybe they are just desperate for sales! I see them on my street every couple of months knocking on doors, they are the only utility company I have seen do this with such regularity!

    And, dodge!
I've never condoned or tried to excuse mis-selling in any form. To compare accurately we would need to look at the number of complaints per sale for each company. You'll probably find that each of the big 6 has made more sales this year than UW (probably lost more too).

A few pages back you proved fairly conclusively you couldn't even do this accurately - and you are an experienced ID.

That is not true.. Go and read again. Published the correct tariffs. The mistake I made had nothing to do with tariffs. In any event as Nigewick has pointed out we don't get into discussing tariffs. If the customer wants to know they can look themselves.

.....IDs jobs are to build relationships.

Avenger pointed out that other energy companies now have a personal point of contact. But I would suggest that's all it is. They don't give out their personal number; they don't go round to people's houses to sort out any problems. Their job I suggest is just to answer queries and get others to a particular job.

More pro-uw propaganda from keggs (who tells us all the time how happy he is with uw, but is so critical of them on the uw reps forum he is urged by his colleagues to take his negative comments direct to the uw ho, and keep his negativism off that forum as they want it to appear positive and not give any ammo to the "uw bashing forums).

So if the UW reps sole purpose in life is to build relationships, go round to customers houses and sort out problems etc, what about the uw rep who tried to use MSE to advertise to other uw reps to sell him some customers so he could get back to having 50? (It sems having 50 is a crucial level in the uw mlm/pyramid operation to trigger more monthly payments).

    Haven't a clue what you're talking about.

This statement is incorrect. Care to try and explain away this mistake/misleading "information" on your part?

While you're at it, how about posting the link to your Utility Warehouse pre payment card beating cashback card?

I am an independent distributor with Utility Warehouse and the views I express may not be shared by the company.

The bit where you claim to have a Utility Warehouse pre payment card beating cashback card but will not post a link to it, or, admit that it does not exist.

How can I explain it? I've no idea why he needed to have 50 customers again - maybe you can explain why a rep would come here offering to buy up customers from other reps?

    Why make the statement then?

While you're explaining that, how about providing the link to your Utility Warehouse pre payment card beating cashback card?

You misunderstand. Are you deliberately doing so?

I didn't "make the statement" regarding this rep wanting to get back to 50 customers.

I merely reported what your colleague uw rep posted in his thread offering to buy up customers off other uw reps here.
