I thought you had to declare that you worked for BG everytime you posted though?
This was covered by Martin some while back and the ruling was in line with Swanjon's post:
Post#71 in this thread:
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1488315&page=4&highlight=declare+interestThe rules have always been simple, if you are engaged in a discussion where you work for a company involved, then you should mention it. However it shouldn't be in your signature as it is only for relevant posts.
If anyone has a problem with the fact someone is posting and appears to be touting for business or misleading then as always there is NO need to react to it - simply e-mail abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.
All the best

I work for BG and mention it whenever they are involved in the discussion or it could be percieved that my opinions are coloured by this. The mind of the bigot is like the pupil of the eye; the more light you pour upon it, the more it will contract.

Sorry Jannine - I never meant to suggest it hadn't happened. While it has never happened to me enough people have mentioned it for me to believe it happens.
It was an allegation, it doesn't mean I don't believe you.
I think npower are a major shareholder, or something simliar - you'll need to ask Carmine - he's the share man.0 -

Fair enough, I haven't read the whole thread, would take me ages! Maybe Martin needs to update the first post, as I see the company are called Telecom Plus!:heart2: Newborn Thread Member :heart2:

Yet what do we have on this forum, closed ranks from the UW IDs and sympathisers.
I am an independent distributor with Utility Warehouse and the views I express may not be shared by the company. The mind of the bigot is like the pupil of the eye; the more light you pour upon it, the more it will contract.

Which I stand by, as does my neighbour. Its not an allegation, its a fact which happened this morning. Also do npower own UW now? I would complain about any energy comapny (UW included) who wil stand on my door step and tell complete lies just to get a sale.
Janninew,
We are back to the fact that English is not your native tongue.
It is an allegation - it really is!0 -
Just to add to my previous post, I thought that link you gave was from this discussion Cardew. I see its a different thread entirely. Are the rules not different on this thread, due to the nature of it?:heart2: Newborn Thread Member :heart2:
