Well once again the diversion tactics have worked and the Big 6 are in the dock.

The issue is that totally incorrect information has been posted on this forum by a UW salesman of over 10 years(?) standing. Much as keggs may not like the new procedure imposed by the UW heirarchy, he has operated under the old system for many years.

The point is that keggs, by his own admission, is absolutely clueless about the products he sells(the VOIP and E7 sagas are just his latest howlers) Yet every mistake(and there are many) is in favour of UW.

In any other organisation if a representative brought the company into disrepute and made it a laughing stock, in the way Keggs does so frequently, they would be sacked or have their licence withdrawn or whatever sanctions UW can impose on their IDs.*

Yet what do we have on this forum, closed ranks from the UW IDs and sympathisers. The best defence Carmine(the lead UW defence counsel) can muster is other companies are as bad.

    * I appreciate UW can't get rid of Carmine for similar howlers; besides he is entertaining these days, MSE's David Brent clone!

You misunderstand. Are you deliberately doing so?

I didn't "make the statement" regarding this rep wanting to get back to 50 customers.

I merely reported what your colleague uw rep posted in his thread offering to buy up customers off other uw reps here.
You wrote something in this thread and told members that more payments are made to Independent Distributors when they have gathered fifty customers. Here is the quote once more >>>(It sems having 50 is a crucial level in the uw mlm/pyramid operation to trigger more monthly payments).<<< You obviously did not check your facts before publishing your words. It appears that you wrote the original complete post in an attempt to discredit Utility Warehouse and those who work with the company, rather than "reporting" what another person had written elsewhere. I pointed out that your statement is inaccurate.

I have now explained myself. How about returning the compliment, and, while you're at it, providing us with the link to your Utility Warehouse pre payment card beating cashback card?

I have nothing to declare but my genius.
Did you "make that up" or is it a quote by somebody famous?

I said "I'm lovin' it" the other day and was informed that it's McDonalds slogan or something, so now I can never use it again.

Depends if it really happened. If the incident actually occurred, it is a matter of fact. If we are talking about proving the doorstep sales person has done something wrong, then it is as you say, an allegation.
Actually, it depends on if you are providing proof. An allegation may be true, but not backed up by proof.
As I tried to get across earlier, I was never doubting what happened to Jannine, just saying that allegations have gone in every direction, not just against UW.

NigeWick, it wasn't my "statement" at all!

I reported what your colleague rep had posted in his thread in this forum about why he was offering to buy customers off other uw reps who come here!

You tell us what is the significance of having 50 customers if there is something innacurate over having that number.

Why would the rep post that he wanted to get back to that level without it having some significance?

I think we are basically agreeing with each other. I was trying to point out that if the incident happened as described, it is a thing definitely known to be true. However, if we are looking at the "legal aspect" then it is an unproven claim that someone has done something unlawful or wrong.

    Hi Quentin

I think the confusion is around the "50" customers.

Are you saying that a rep actually requested to buy customers from other reps?

If so, I don't recall that one - do you have a link?

    Thanks

Yes. I used the words you are going on about by way of reporting the "advert" your colleague used a thread here to put up to ask for uw reps to sell him some of their customers.

Why don't you just explain the correct significance of having 50 customers if you are so concerned about it?
