    Hi Gerrard

Yes, I believe you only need to have a minimum of one live service to be able to apply for the card. You would also need to factor in the membership fee.

    Best regards

    Hi Quentin (again)

Do you have a link to the quoted thread? It would possibly be useful to know who had posted such a request and follow it up. And before you ask, not for the purpose of "selling" customers. :p

    Thanks again

    Mike

    It was deleted.

I posted in it twice, the rep who's user name was incompressible random letters, asked other UW reps to sell him some customers as his total had dropped below 50. I pointed out this was spam which he denied it was. I think it was uptomyeyeballs who directed the rep to UW ID networker site. I clicked on the link provided and was amazed at the double level of security they feel the need to use. Anything to hide?

    Hi Jim

Thanks for the info, shame it was deleted in some ways - it would have been useful to find out who it was.

As regards the networker site, the security was incorporated as this thread, and others occasionally, were being frequently linked back to it with video links etc. and then used to "attack" selective aspects in the videos with regard to UW. The straw was, and still is, when selective quotes were taken from the site and reproduced here to make various allegations against individual posters.

I had no problem with the video links etc. as these could be found elsewhere on the net in the majority of cases, so were in the public domain, so to speak. I was less pleased when quotes, often out of context, were posted on here to undermine individuals. I am all for freedom of expression and postings, but the persistent use of these quotes to attack / undermine individuals, is really pushing the boundaries for me given the expected levels of respect that should be shown to others using the forum.

As a consequence of this, the site security was improved to try and reduce the opportunity for this type of activity. We all like to have a vent about something from time to time and it would be nice to feel that you can have different personae for different roles without having to resort to having different "identities" to avoid this type of cross-posting.

I also appreciate that things do get a bit heated on here from time to time and I wince at some of the things that are posted. I am sure that these types of things would not be said face to face with another individual and the fact that we can all hide behind the anonimity of the internet shouldn't be a reason why common courtesy shouldn't be followed.

    That's my 5p's worth.

    Mike

As has been confirmed, you can get the cashcard and ONE service. Would it be too much of a generalisation to suggest that anyone who regularly shops at Sainsburys (as i believe you do as I know, like me, you really rate their basics range) would be effectively losing money if they didn't have at least one UW service and the UW cashcard? You wouldn't need to spend a huge amount in Sainsburys (remember the 5% also applies to petrol/diesel) to, for instance, get their phone line rental package (£9.90 per month plus £1.73 club fee*) for free. Just over £100 per week at Sainsburys (this is of course forgetting the other 30 or so High street names) would get you their Broadcall package (phone/up to 24mb bb/40gb download limit/inclusive weekend calls etc) for free.**

    * Before you know who jumps on this, there's also a requirement to spend at least £1 per month on calls!

** Prices based on your exchange being LLU'd.

    There is no misunderstanding possible.
That's because you do not answer questions or even provide everybody with a link to your Utility Warehouse pre payment card beating cashback card.

I am an independent distributor with Utility Warehouse and the views I express may not be shared by the company.

But we are missing answers from you to questions posed. As in:-

I have now explained myself to you twice this afternoon and you have admitted to using the words >>>(It sems having 50 is a crucial level in the uw mlm/pyramid operation to trigger more monthly payments).<<< and you have not explained why you used them when they are not true. Why did you use these words?

You claim to post on this thread for altruistic reasons but refuse to post the link to your Utility Warehouse pre payment card beating cashback card. Why is that?

Why is it that when two people have shown how they save money by being Utility Warehouse customers, you continue to state that others can not save money by being a customer?

Why is it that you call customers of Utility Warehouse "gullibles"? Isn't that rather insulting?

The problem they have is that the duplicity of keggs is revealed to anyone visiting that site, where he has become a critic of the uw, and quite different in his approach to it there than the impresion he gives here as being a very happy bunny.

eg. a keggs thread there entitled "Why is uw letting us down" (This is the most discussed thread on the site)

eg. keggs gets admonished by his colleagues for his negative posting, who warned him the forum was open to others from "uw bashing forums"

eg. keggs "customer service" suggestion to another rep to solve his concern that ho have mucked about a new customer's dd, by suggesting to the rep "Personally I would tell him to cancel his services. No point risking any further aggro."

eg. keggs has been the only rep to criticise uw over the £100 loyalty bonus they now give new members saying he feels it a "pity" uw didn't give an incentive to existing members. Any negativity posted by the reps is frowned on and the big guns from uw quickly post their concern, telling keggs et al "Chill people! There's enough negativity outside UW without us arguing amongst our own people!!"

So although they have nothing to hide, (and are encouraged to be positive about uw at all times), they don't seem to want the rest of us to see their true feelings (which as shown are contrary to the image they try to show here).
