Morning ladies! A newbie to this thread
I ordered my first box with She Said and it has just been delivered - I thought when I ordered I would get the June box, but it looks like I have been sent the 'old' May.... so a little disappointed lol!
Though the box is nice. I only use false lashes about once a year - so these can be them! And the lip whip came in the colour Peach - which is a pretty shade I would wear. The one I'm least sure about is the tan accelerator - I'm pale skinned and live in Scotland!0 -
got the cashback through tcb for the Glossy box (£7.07) so costing me less than £3 :j:j:j:j:jwith the free delivery, many thanks to the lady(sorry forgot who it was) who put the info on this thread0

I know it's not exactly beauty box related so feel free to move if there's somewhere more suitable for it. (is there a beauty forum on MSE?)
I currently use (and LOVE) Elemis Marine Cream but at £75 for 50ml I cannot afford to buy this seperately - I only get the occasional 30ml pot when it's included in a QVC TSV.
Can anyone suggest a similar day cream at a more realistic affordable price?
Thanks in advance x
Edited to add - I got my first LuxBox yesterday and I am pleased to get the balance me eye cream (heard lots about this brand) and the pigment eye shadows will be great for festival season!
Not much use atm but the best thing to do is stock up on the sets at Xmas. I use their day dream that's £32 a pop full size and it was in gift sets with a full size day cream, cleanser and body lotion plus travel size cleanser for £35 in the sales :money::j0 -
Another newbie!
I have ordered the glossybox via tcb and free p&p so should work out really well and can't wait to receive it. The only thing is, I have heard that the boxes are abit hit and miss and would rather wait to see my first box before I 'subscribe' and I am awful at remembering to cancel things!
I had an email saying payment success and they will email me when it's dispatched so have now 'unsubscribed'. Is this right, will I still receive my glossybox? Sorry if this is a silly question, I did have a look through the thread but couldn't find any answer
Thanks0 -
Faith, I'm pretty sure you will get this box as the payment has gone through. Only way to know for sure however is if you email / phone them to check. I'm sure they wouldn't mind you doing what you did to try a box first.0

Is anyone else getting excited about impending boxes?
I have high hopes for the birthday GB.
I bet mine all get delivered around the same time. Only Amarya seem to send theirs out early.New forum. New sig. Yes I still need to lose 2 stone!0 -
Thanks Rose, I emailed them and had a speedy response. All's good and they fully understand that I wanted to see what the first one was like before I subscribed. Can't wait0

Me! I get far too excited than is normal about my beauty boxes. I am being v restrained at the mo - Amarya & GB only so the have been spaced out well. Will probably be jealous when I find out what's in all the other boxes!0 -

That's a really good analogy actually, especially when I remember that sometimes I loved what was in the bag and other times I loathed it. Bit like these boxes I'd say. Currently have 3 on the go but cutting down to 1 next month for financial reasons, plus I've got a nice little stash of products built up.
Can't wait to see what's in the GB this month though. :dance:Targets
