That's a really good analogy actually, especially when I remember that sometimes I loved what was in the bag and other times I loathed it. Bit like these boxes I'd say. Currently have 3 on the go but cutting down to 1 next month for financial reasons, plus I've got a nice little stash of products built up.
Can't wait to see what's in the GB this month though.
I'm cutting down to two soon, as can't afford to keep them all on. Amarya is the one I'm definitely keeping, but its too hard to choose between the others. This month will be the decider... (hopefully!:D)

had an email from SSB offering me a "special" 25% off 6months if I resub but am sure starting again through a cashback would be better value so going to look into it!0

Well I'm signed up for the Glossybox "birthday box" - after asking on Facebook they have assured everyone that it is going to be "special".
Special does not necessarily equal goodbut we will see
I've got Luxbox number 2 coming at the end of the month and then I'll decide whether to keep it or just stick to Amarya.Living with Lupus is like juggling with butterflies0 -

OMG think I am getting obsessed by boxes:rotfl:after filling in the SSB form to renew decided I did not want to spend £58 on 6 months so abandonned that one(quidco = £8 btw)then as openned a tcb account and recomended dH I decided to order another glossybox to take advantage of the free post plus £7.07 tcb AND as DH has spent £10 I should get £10 back on my tcb account!!!(hopefully) so should be £7 better off with a free box!!!0

Sounds good! Although I think you have to get £10 cashback rather than just spend £10 on yor husband's TCB account to get your referral bonus. So I'd just use that account for any shopping until you have. You could always set up another SSB account for the 1 month cashback!0 -

Looks like I will get my 3 remaining boxes around the same time then. GB after 23rd, Luxbox after 22nd, and Amitee around the same time (was last month, although no confirmed date as far as I'm aware).
It would have been better if distributed across the month, as would have been the case more if GB had stuck to deadlines.New forum. New sig. Yes I still need to lose 2 stone!0 -
Got my Amarya today, I was pleased with it, the cream looks nice and the lipgloss too, good value. My only gripe is all the facial products in beauty boxes (like the face oil) seem to be for dry skin - I have oily skin and after quite alot of boxes have had nothing to suit my face. So another one for my mum!
purplebutterfly - not sure if you worked out which SSB box you're getting but the 'May' one is published on the SSB website under the 'in the box' section. I got this box very early in the month (my last one) but can't remember if I wrote about it. Might be worth checking to see if the contents suit, if not maybe they might send the next. It does have the Inkia lip whip I think you wanted though.
edit - says on their fb page - There's not long to go until we stop selling the May boxes and start on the June boxes!
Hi Rose80
I'm not sure if your aware but people with oily skin (like myself) can still use (and should do) an oil facial product. Most people think with oily skin you need to use something to dry it out when in fact that causes the skin to produce even more oil to compensate for the skin being stripped.
Lots of EO's like citrus oils, bergamots, lavenders etc actually balance oil levels in the skin especially in oily and combination skins. :T
Try giving them a bash, if your not too sure try using them at night and i bet you see a difference within a few weeks. I was the same i used to be scared to use oils and moisturisers etc, xxBlogger / Money SaverMake £2022 in 2022 Challenge - Accepted0
