Missli - That's a bit of a shame they're all coming at once. I agree GB seem a little unprofessional changing the dates so often, you'd think they would have everything organised in good time.
It ruins the surprise a little for me. I'm going to be swamped with stuff in about 10 days time. Its not quite so much fun that way. I like to receive separately as can then appreciate more.
Last month I came back from a weekend away to find GB, and Amitee waiting for me, but after travelling was too knackered to appreciate fully, until the next day.
I am keeping Amarya, as has consistently been products I'd use. I really want to cut down to two, so the only consolation will be I'll be able to compare all three at once.New forum. New sig. Yes I still need to lose 2 stone!0 -

Be careful - Buyapowa runs on black magic and is capable of bending even the strongest of wills!
There is no other explanation for the fact that every time I get an email saying "Co-buy now live", I lose all control of my mind and only regain consciousness after pressing the "Pay now" button :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Living with Lupus is like juggling with butterflies0 -
Right, I've decided to get my beauty boxes in order! Ramble coming up...
1) I've had Glossybox for nearly a year and though I often moan about it, I know I'm not going to cancel. I've had a regular month by month sub for ages, so I want to look for deals on this from now on - but I don't know if TCB will work for me as it's the same email as the one I use for Glossybox so they will know I'm not a new customer. I'm going to cancel next week and try it.
2) Cancelled She Said (only had one box from them, they were going to be my Carmine substitute but I didn't like my first SS box) and waiting for this Buyapowa thing to see if that will be a good price.
3) Signed up with Joliebox for their birthday issue in June using a £5 off code I was sent. Will see how that goes.
4) I'm interested in the natural boxes as I am starting to become more that way inclined, are there any good deals, or do subbies think they are worth the price they are?0 -
Just did a dummy run with TCB and the free shipping code says 'not valid'. I signed out of my old account, have tried it with a new one and it keeps saying not valid. Has anyone else encountered this?
Okay I was being thick, you have to scroll along to get the last two letters for the code, DOH!
Urrrgh, my old computer crashed on me again as it loves to do, and now GB won't accept the code as it's 'already been used'. I'm giving up for today:D
Lol no I'm back again!!! I decided as I'm sticking with glossybox to do the 6 months for price of 5 option, and even though I didn't go in with TCB the shipping code came off the total anyway:)

The Amarya box is definitely worth it. Just using up the last of my Argan oil from my first box, and will be replacing, its that good. My 2nd box I've had from them, which I received earlier this month was just ace (Gorgeous lip-gloss (full-sized), multi-purpose cream (full-sized), facial oil treatment (trial sized), plus perfume sample). Good quality, well thought out products, full of natural ingredients with no nasties. Amarya is the box I will always keep.
This month for me will be a choice. I liked my last GB, except for one item (straightening balm)which is unusable for me as like my hair messy. I also disliked that I got a body cream (which have loads of, although a handy size for travelling) worth £3, whilst others got much pricier items.
Positives for me, are the serum which I am saving for winter, the gorgeous Inika green eyeliner which I use daily, and the lovely lip-balm which I use every night. Those last two items (plus the serum) made the box worthwhile.
Amitee was good, have used the coloured lip-balm for daytime, and the lovely gold eye-shadow. I haven't used the other items yet, but very useful. Usefulness leans me towards Amitee, but usability would be GB, as have used 2 items almost daily, since receiving. A tough call.
I'm also waiting for a Lux Box too. I've not had before, but last months looked fab.
I could easily have spent what I paid for all 4 beauty boxes, on just 2/4 items in there. Which makes them great value for money, and also more reluctant to give any of them up.New forum. New sig. Yes I still need to lose 2 stone!0 -
Hello ladies!
Well I've just jumped on the BB bandwagon (a little late I know!) I've signed up for am Amarya box as I do prefer and buy more natural/organic products normally. And have just signed upto Glossybox as I heard the birthday one was meant to be good and the cashback and free P&P looked good.
I'd like to try the Jolie Box but I cant seem to find any CB or discount codes for it, can anyone help/point me in the right direction? I saw they have pretty birthday boxes too - is it slightly wrong that I'm already thinking of good uses for the boxes?
I dont think I'll carry on with the Glossy and Jolie boxes as I'm not really a make up follower but I just fancied a treat to perk me up - baby number 2 is due in sept and am feeling run down and behind with everything!
Is there a BB forum to sway item on or anything, I took a quick look at a FB page but there didnt seem to be much swapping or anything. Anyway, look forward to chatting with you all xxNo buying un-necessary toiletries challenge - Start total: 235. Current total: 273!!0 -

Hello miclare, welcome. Glad you got some good deals to try out some boxes. There are no 'public' deals for joliebox unfortunately, I know because I have trawled for ages trying to find some! I have heard a couple of people say they were emailed a voucher, think this may be people who have subbed then cancelled before. You might be surprised with the boxes, I don't find them too make-up heavy actually. I'm expecting too, next month, so am being restrained with my addiciton and at the moment anyway only getting 2 boxes!0

Congratulations to both of you.
Nothing better than getting treats when pregnant. My lovely sisters bought me lots of L'Occitane, and Lush goodies whilst pregnant with my last, so got spoiled a bit. Did wonders for me. Hope their are some luxury bath products soon in the beauty boxes, as is one of my favourite ways of relaxing.New forum. New sig. Yes I still need to lose 2 stone!0 -
Welcome to all new thread participants and big hugs to the ladies with bellies full of baby (unlike mine which is full of cake :rotfl: )
Just wanted to say "bye bye" and wish you all love and luck over the next fortnight - I'm looking forward to catching up on everyone's boxes when I get home. Fingers crossed I will also have a Lux Box and a Glossybox waiting for me too :T
I've had a horrible day packing - it is the one thing in life that REALLY turns me into a stressed, snappy, tearful, monster of a woman. Going to have a shower and go to bed now.
Be good, look after each other and I'll see you when I get homeLiving with Lupus is like juggling with butterflies0
