Any chance of you justifying your comments?
Yes I know receipts have the last 4 numbers on as the machine does that automatically. However that only happens when I am in an actual shop and physically hand my card over. This has NEVER been the case with an online order from anywhere that I;ve ever ordered from.
Who's side are you on anyway, do you work for them or something? :rolleyes:0 -
"justifying your comments".
ohdearme Have lost any money you seem to think shopneo are in the right. Credit cards are being used for fraudulently .0 -
If Paul Owen was concerned about the security issue in his company, then he would have contacted the police. I find this to be particulary worrying and it must say alot about his company0

What I find odd is how Mr Owen made plenty of posts when everything was fine and dandy, but when the ship starts to sink he's off.0

well i emailed peter jackson, received the same generic reply detailed in this thread, and have now decided to go to my local police station tommorow and report it in person.
I have been defrauded by over £100 - and while I should get this back, what about the fact that i am now unable to draw on that money until its sorted? what about the worry that someone unsrupulous has my personal details? what about the hassle of calling the banks, trading standards and now frequenting the police?
Its simply unaccepotable, all of it, and the final nail in the coffin for me what this Paul character inviting us all to contact Mr Jackosn, only for us to be sent a useless generic email response.
I demand to know how this security leak happened, who exactly is responsible, what details of mine they posess and how they intend to recompense me.
The notion that they are victims too is, of course, correct. but we are the customers who entrusted our personal details with them, and we have been failed by them. not just with the fraud, but the lack of information, of courtesy, of concern and of reassurance.0 -
