Shopneo - Possible card fraud warning

Right then, I was one of those original people who used Shopneo. Nope I didn't get an email about possible card fraud. I foolishly didn't cancel my card because I watch my credit card transactions very carefully. Nothing untoward happened to my account up until last week...... Yep I had 4 transactions that total £100. Since the shopneo incident I hardly use my credit card except for Tescos or other major retailers. So I do have very strong suspicions that the shopneo fraudsters had kept my details on record and thought that now was the time to start dipping in!
So all you out there who didn't cancel, please do regularly check your statements.July Win: Nokia 58000 -
So what does the shopneo forum have to say about this thread?0

Yes there have be hiding behind "legal reasons" from the start.0

well im not using them anymore,. simple as that,. im sure many others have moved on aswell,
If the owner cant be bothered to post some info or a lil memo on the site then it just goes to show how much they give a !!!!!!,. (I im not talking aobut the Note that was posted after the site was shut down for a while)
Shopneo = Shop no no0 -

I received my money back and so hopefully did every single person. so no loss on our part, its a catastrophic loss on their part, think of the weekly intake to now, where no one shops there now.
a 4 pound profit on a cake box of dvdr, as i bet if you go to their main site now its overflowing with sales and BOGOFs and they are probably making little or no money on stock quotas!
their mistake, their huge loss.Save saynoto0870.com in your favorites, and stop giving companies more £££ dialling 0870 numbers when you can dial freephones or cheaper alternatives
call your credit card company, tell them that you want to leave, 99% of the time theyll lower your APR%
Remember when that Bank Manager or Salesperson smiles at you, all he sees is £ notes. Dont forget the motto, "the wider their grin, the more debt your in"0 -
yep thats true.0

I got stung by using shopneo last year...along with lots of other people. Just to warn everyone that I've just started to get newsletter emails from them again even though I deleted my account.
They're up and running againso watch out!
