I'd forgotten about the date of birth we had to give god knows all the things they could do with details they now have on us. Funny no online shop has asked for my D.O.B before.
Well I’ve gone onto the shopneo site and closed my account and removed my details. I won't be using them again . . Just encase anyone needs there contact details

I called them to clarify why they needed the dob prior to ordering and was told it was or marketing, ie/ they would send discount vouchers etc on your birthday.
Now - I'm not so sure, I.D fraud is a real possibility.0 -
Right now I am feeling pretty relieved that I paid by paypal. I always always pay by credit card and this was the first time I have done otherwise on the web. Great Dysan DVDs though...0

It seems that there was talk about this on digital-forums.com which is owned by Mr Owen, guess what though people......it's all been DELETED!!!! How wrong is that, his own members of his own forum and he does that. Does he really think deleting threads will make it all go away LOL0

The fact that nobody from Shopneo has been on this site to explain anything speaks volumes. IMO.0

he cMSE have my IP, and know I'm not.
Right on queue. As soon as you point out to people they are possibly wrong they come out with there defence of "you must work for them"justlooking wrote:ohdearme Have lost any money you seem to think shopneo are in the right. Again, even though I actually have a life, if I go offline I MUST be implicated. Which again justifies this statementohdearme wrote:Its turning into a thread full of speculation and incorrectness which benefits no-one.
Now, lets go back to the original post, I am now being accused of working for this company even though I live 100s of miles away from there site, and couldn't pick out stoke on a map. I was, however, previously accused of having a "a pathetic vendetta" against the company.lostsomewhere wrote:Are you by any chance, two of 'Simate' who clearly has a grudge and also a presonality complex?
Let it go man, go get some fresh air & stop spouting this childish nonsense.
This isn't a warning, it's a pathetic vendetta.
I firmly beleive that some people on here do really need help. In posting info, and then pointing out that what some are saying on here is based on guesswork which benefits no-one, I am subject to the psychotic allegations of people I am trying to help. No-one here knows me, no-one knows where I work, but the allegations of either holding a vendetta against shopneo, or working for them, flow in. Why, because I disagree with people, who then, knowing they can't win the argument, result to posting negative comments about the poster (again without any basis in fact).0 -

QUOTE=justlooking]ohdearme Have lost any money you seem to think shopneo are in the right. Credit cards are being used for fraudulently .
the problem is you have appointed yourself the voice of reason yet i am i and im sure others cannot see where you are coming from - instead of being angry about your loss and sympathising with others you seem to be sticking up for shopneo - shopneo should be more that capable and have had ample opportnity to stick up for themselves without your help
there are scores of people affected to the tune of thousands and thousands of pounds - of course people will be angty upset and speculate - time and again shoneo have been asked legitimate questions that they skirted and now will not respond to at all
sorry odearme we do not need a voice of reason we need answers!!
just my tuppenth worth 8 and no insults intended0
