I've lost just under £200-00 too, bank knew all about Neo as well. Also have you noticed that Owen's forum Digital Forums is now off line! I suspect there are no replies from Neo now so as to limit their liabilities if they go to the wall over this. If they tell us nothing they dont have to defend or justify it later.0

The problem is getting the sole attention of Peter Jackson he is the one now dealing with all queries regarding the unautorised payments that have been taken from credit cards there are numbers on the web site to contact them on but most of you will need to be aware that he is very busy at the moment dealing with lots of people so the best way to contact him by email peter.jackson@shopneo.co.uk. He will reply but he is getting lots of calls and emails at the moment so it may take time.
Just to reiterate the process of claiming the money back is to contact your card issueing company and tell them that the payments were not made by you and they will refund the money to your cards.
I actually sympathise with the owners of ShopNeo they arn't some huge company, they are very much a family style business where everyone knew each other before they worked together. They have made some great offers available in an atempt to increase sales and build the company profile with the launch of a new website etc and this happens. I do hope this doesnt destroy everything that they have worked so hard for over the last 9 years I have been buying stuff from them. I am sure that Paul and co are working on getting to the bottom of what has happend, but it isnt just a case of opening a log file and saying ohh thats who stole the details. Good luck hopfully everyone else understands what is happening.
Perhaps Little John who is a moderator on digital forums can give a sensible reply about the forum?0 -
As a fellow DF mod, we don't have any more information than than the regular members get - all I know is that there's a new skin being played with and I presumed the downtime was because of that - what happened to innocent until proven guilty? It's all speculation as far as I see up to now. Give Paul time to sort things out and gather the facts, I'm sure he'll be happy to update everyone. My biggest fear is all of these people having to wipe egg off their faces as well as recoup their £££.0

your bias is obviously towards paul and good luck to you - you forget this situation has be going on for over 2 weeks now - and the speculation and anger are due to pauls and dr jackson's inability to answer ANY questions and the totally inept way they have handled all this, indeed paul has been uncontastable all week and dr jackson has auto reply on his mail box - I also fear you fail to contemplate the scale of this - its running into tens of thousands of pounds!!! - to me and many others its a scandel and I fear it will be the likes of you with egg on your face0 -

Two (nearly three) days to apply a new skin??
Yeah...right!
All smells a bit fishy. Also, I thought Mr Owen resided in the US of A?0 -
I've no axe to grind either way. There is a chance the Police are investigating & that Paul Owen has been advised not to comment. I know people are upset & have been inconvienced but you will I'm sure get your money back....been there myself in the past. Just be patient....getting wound up doesn't help.0

I've just been online and had £400 stolen under 'EUROBET;-im absolutely furious about this. Expecially as i do gamble on other sites and am worried the bank will think it was me and just sour grapes for losing. I've stopped my card but its too late for fraud to be open. Its absolutely disgusting!0

Oh god! I didn't even think to cancel my credit card - i saw my account was fine and thought nothing more of it. Didn't even hit me that someone can still use the stolen info.
Going to cancel the card first thing in the morning. Quite a bit of hassle and worry =(0 -
Just been checking online about neo shop and came across this thread, have to say my card was charged with 2 transactions, one of £4.90 to bus company, and £798 to a travel agency.
Ive never in all the many years being online had card fraud from online shopping until now. I actually blammed it being a payment I made over the phone to the cause of this as I assumed the company in question at the time just chucked out receipts with my details on without destroying. Obviously I received a letter the next day from Neoshop which made clear to where the breach of my details came from.
The thing is tho, I feel sorry for Neo Shop as my experience with them has been excellent with regards to customer service and I do feel its a smallish company which is family run, but I am now very unsure as to whether I should order from them again purely because of the security issue. I would very much like to know what actually happened and what measures have been made to make sure this will never happen again.
A point someone made on this thread was never use a card which isnt covered for online fraud, I totaly agree, my card was MBNA and I was shocked how smoothly the whole thing went from canceling the card to being refunded. Literaly straight away it all went ahead.
I do hope neo shop get everything sorted out tho.
