    Hi

Its my understanding that you must stick to the time scale that you have set out in your letter ie 14 days. I have read that if you move before the time scale you have set, it can be looked upon as harssment. stick to your time scale.

    Interest is added at 8%
  • Just got a full settlement of £2100, hassle-free. Sent first letter, got statements within a week, made a quick spreadsheet with all charges, sent it off and 3 weeks later (yesterday) was offerered a full settlement (minus the interest I had calculated). Had to accept within 8 days so made sure I sent my acceptance by registered post. Now I shall wait for the money to hit my account.

Seems they have different rules for different people. Stick with it and quote this case as an example, if you like... Best of luck!

I used the Nat west reg address London but on Moneyclaim it kept coming up as an Invalid address The recent posts suggest that this may be incorrect address and Edinburgh is the correct address Help?? I felt good that I filed today but now I am worrying in case I have given wrong info to court.

  • Hope someone can help - I used the online County Court Claim Form against the RBOS.
I issued proceedings on 30/3/07, I realise that I needed to give another 5 days from this date for the claim to be issued. RBOS responded on 13/4/07 by sending me a letter stating that they did not accept liability but as a gesture of goodwill they were prepared to pay £1254 of the £3097 claim.
I do not want to accept this so what do I do next????
