  • I have so far sent three letters to RBS asking them to repay £88 of charges. Now I have been a good girl all those years and only accumulated so little but despite this I am still waiting for a positive response. A friend who I have advised on this matter has been already paid out albeit for a much bigger amount- which seems unfair!
My question is now is it the same to claim money through Scottish sheriffs as it would be through moneyclaim as RBS is based in Scotland?
Any advise on what to do? Or am I too petty and should drop it, as I would have to pay the claimant’s fees of £30?

    Help!!!!!!!

Can someone help as I am totally confused as to where to take RBS to court.
As they are based in Edinburgh and I live in England is it right to claim through the Scotish Small Claims?

Please if one of you out there knows the answer or has dealt with RBS I will very much appreciate your help. I believe as my claim is only £88 they are laughing at me for making so much effort. http://img.moneysavingexpert.com/smilies/confused-smiley-013.gif
  • As you live in England you can claim in England using the RBS address in London....

  • I sent my letter on 18th January and haven't received an acknowledgement, today I rang the number given out previously on this thread. An advisor asked whether I'd received any correspondence I said 'no', so she took my details and said someone would look into it and call me back tomorrow. If I don't hear anything by 3pm I will ring back. I'm claiming 1700 on 2 a/cs.
I wished the buck stopped here as I could use a few!
