hi, i have been interested in re claiming my bank charges from RBS.
I had a active royilties A/c for years, however 2 years ago i changed my bank, but kept my RBS account open just reduced it to an interest paying current acount. my question is can i re claim charges on my old royalties account??? your help as always is appriciated. AngelaXx0 -
You can claim the charges but you can't claim the monthly charge for having a Royalties account.0

Thanks thats great, i think i will give it a bash!!!0 -
Have received letter from RBOS offering "good-will" refund of all the charges we asked for. Only thing now is to decide whether to accept this or push on, as they have not acknowledged the claim for the added interest.
Does anyone know of other instances where progression to MCOL stage has been successful.
Not sure whether to be greedy or not!0 -
If you accept an offer before going to court the bank won't offer you any interest, its only applicable if you go to court.0

Hey all, Some help needed with my RBS account
I have written away to RBS asking for statements, I only had my bank card avaliable as this was a closed account from around 2 years ago.
As you may be aware RBS do not put the account number on the card so i didnt have this info.
RBS have cashed my cheque but have written me a letter stating that they could ot locate me on their systems using my card number as it is not possible.
I called the local branch and was advised that they couldnt locate it either and that i would need my account number and sort code to locate a closed account.
has anyone else had this problem.
And can anyone think of what i can do to sort this out and somehow get my account number.
PS i have no old letters as they were all shredded.
Thanks
