Do you know what the £15 is for? RBS penalty charges are usually either £28, £35 or £38. If you are being charged £15 it may be the case that you are paying for their Royalties Premier account. If you are, this is entirely voluntary and all you have to do is asked to downgrade to an Interest Paying Current Account. They may still charge you a pro rata amount for the month but it should stop further charges. Unfortunately there's no way of getting these charges back, unless you have an extremely understanding bank manager (which i doubt very much)!0

HI all
Just a quickie - Im on a DMP and RBS are one of major creditors - however whillst on my DMP they keep adding charges, interest etc - now a major factor of this amount of money is the fact that they owe me so much in charges - however I've sent the letter to the litigation dept asking for my moeny back twice now - recorded delivery and keep getting no response.
I've just had a letter from them (diff dept) requesting update of DMp for payments etc - cheeky when they keep adding more and more on and not acknowledging me.
Whats the best course of action for me now - or does anyone know who/how i can resolve this asap??
Thanks

If you want them to acknowledge you, you have to file a court claim.Reclaimed thanks to this site:

At the 11th hour, on the final day of the 28 day deadline with MCOL, RBS solicitors have just filed a defence. Is it worth ringing the Customer Relations Unit (CRU) in Scotland tomorrow to negotiate, or shall I proceed, say nothing and wait for the Court's Allocation Questionnaire etc? I ask only as I've read that several forum members have had successful dealings with the Edinburgh CRU.
Also, if I'm successful, do they have to pay out the amount by cheque as we've now reached the Court stage?RBS Buster!0
