But you are very right to point out that the normal overdraft interest is NOT claimable.
Oh sorry, I see what you mean now. I made two lists, one for the charges, the other was the interest calculator print-out, although you can of combine that in one list, I am sure. Btw, the interest on £35 since 03/02/05 would work out as a cool £5.77.Reclaimed thanks to this site:

Just finished all my letters, I'm claiming back nearly £3000 in charges :T I've also asked Lloyds for the Payment Protection Cover back as it was next to useless when I lost my job!!!
Roll on 19 March (accounting for weekends and the fact that the letters won't be posted until tomorrow), if they haven't replied by then... I'll be on to stage 3.0 -
I done letter to Halifax last night, claiming back £1600. Have successfully claimed off Capital One and Barclaycard and am waiting to hear off Nrthern Rock. Was really nervous about claiming off Halifax as I bank with them (not happy with their service at mo though). Have opened another parachute account in clase they close my account and am feeling slightly nervous about claiming of them.
The only thing that's keeping me going is that I'll be able to pay off my Mint card if I get the charges back.0 -
I know what you mean, I'll be able to pay my cards off if I get all of these - the only thing I've realised is that I haven't listed what all the charges are for - couldn't figure out how to put a description in the calculator thingy
But they should have my records, so I'm hoping it won't be a problem!

I can't see it being a problem. I just listed the date and the amount of charge. Are you going to take them all the way? I'm hoping they are just going to surrender easily and give me my money back.0

When I was a student I did go overdrawn on quite a few occassions. This would have been from around 1996 - 2003, but I cannot remember when or how much.
Am I kind of stuck here or can I write to my bank requesting them to look up any bank charges that I may have occured during that period?
thanks,
