Don't know if there are any of those on here who were around for the Xmas thread that my purchase fell through on. Good news is I've finally found somewhere else and the survey is being done tomorrow.
The bad news is the one that fell through is now back on the market for £28k more than the offer that I made that was accepted, I think I was fobbed off with a sob story by the vendors and I'm not amused since them messing me about cost me £600!0 -
WE HAVE FINALLY MOVED!
Moved on 5th April after very hurried exchnage on 3rd April. Loads of problems along the way and at one point thought the chain would collapse. Our EA was useless (although not so backwards in coming forwards when it came to the question of putting their bill in) And our poor FTB ended up in B&B for a week because his sols/mortgage co and Broker were so bad. However we are finally in a house with very dodgy decor, no central heating, boiler etc but I adore it. Cant wait to get stuck in and make it a home. The neighbours are so friendly, and the sun always shines in our lovely, big level back garden. The stress has probably takes 5 years off my life expectancy but I am glad to say we got through it and thehassle and strain is but a long distant memory. Good Luck to everyone else in this process, although I have to say, I am glad to be out of it.0 -

I find these "race to be in before" threads rather amusing. I wonder if we'll be having a "race to get out before the bailiffs arrive" thread after the next couple of Interest rate increases !!!!!!!0

Trev, for your knowledge:
My mortgage is more than affordable AND fixed. Also my deposit is much higher than the average FTB.Tim0
