Wong item sent to buyer

  • Are you unable distinguish between what you actually are doing and what I'm saying you could be perceived as doing by the buyer?

So full of what '??' Did you actually read the whole thread or just pick out one sentence at random?

How am I playing for time? I sent the item 2nd class on the day the payment was received (Monday). Buyer received the item 2 days later. Had she been able to post back Wednesday or Thurdsay then she would of had her item by Friday or Saturday. It is not my fault she can only post back on Monday's so how is it me playing with time?

I should receive the item back on Tuesday. She will receive her item Wednesday, 9 days after payment. Last time I checked, Paypal allowed cases to be opened 45 days after payment so it won't be too late to open a claim.
Yes I have read the whole thread. Did you read my whole post?

As a seller it is your responsibility to get the item to the buyer that she has paid for. The fact that YOU made a mistake has nothing to do with it. You should still send out the buyers right item now and not wait for the other to be returned.

What you are effectively saying to your buyer is "I know I made a mistake but I dont trust you to rectify it properly so Im not posting your item until you do"

She is more likely to Neg you and trash your stars for the way you are treating your mistake.
Whilst she may seem to be "ok about it", you might find that she isnt one little bit.

Your conduct as a seller is appalling.

Coming from someone who is advising another seller on another thread to not go through with a sale because Collection Only item sold for £1.04

    Your not always right.

It bores you that much that you even took the time to reply and subscribe to it.

Did you not realise reading threads was not compulsory?

I have made my decision and get asked why this discussion is still going. The reason this discussion is still going is because they are continuing to post in the thread, it's not difficult to understand is it.

A certain member repeats himself saying there is a right way and my way - his way is the right way, my way is the wrong way. No I did not get very denfensive but I did not want to contiune going round in circles so I stated he was boring me. He then brings my dogs in to it which suggests he has been trawling through my posts. Pathetic.

I don't understand this comment in relation to my post. I haven't made any reference to the discussion continuing. I cannot see anyone repeating themselves.

Your posts come across as aggressive at times and I am unsure why. You do seem to berate a reply.

Well now you know that a lot of sellers would deal with the situation differently from you. You still believe that you have behaved correctly.
That's the end of the discussion really, isn't it? There isn't much point in continuing with this thread!

I know you haven't. I was referring to the comment highlighted above, not your post.

Above poster seems to be unhappy that the discussion is still going. Others had replied so I responded which is why the discussion is still going.

If anyone is unhappy about the thread continuing then either don't read/post in it or feel free to PM the Board Guide to lock it instead of posting pathetic comments like the post above by mandragora for example.

  • Ah that makes it clearer for me. It was confusing as you had quoted my post. I was unsure what I may have referred to without realising.

I don't think the post above was pathetic, there is a lot of dry humour on these boards. But I guess, reading a language that is 'foreign' means I read what is there, rather that what is implied. I don't see anything pathetic, I think perhaps you may take things too personally. I see on another current post, you mention it is not correct to disagree with 'regulars'. I think CQ said she deems you a 'regular', so would I, so I am not sure what that really means? People on the whole site are generally very helpful, but I do find people on this board more so. There is some general banter, but I like it and try and join in where I understand. Perhaps I have misinterpreted your posts, but I get the feel that you are very anti the users of this particular board.

Well it wasn't actually very helpful so to me it was inappropriate. If the thread bores mandragora that much, then why read/post in it - just move on to the next.

I wouldn't say I was a regular on the eBay boards. The main reason I come on this forum is to post deals/discount codes not to supervise one particular board every day. If I have came on here looking for advice, opinions or help with deciding what to do then I will offer my help in other threads that are on the first page at the time.

Yes there is some helpful posters on this board but from reading past threads I have also noticed there is some rude & sarcastic know it all's that defend eBay all day and if you don't do what they think is best then it is the wrong way.

  • I agree, there are some inappropriate comments posted sometimes. But I think you are a regular on the boards......it doesn't mean you post purely on the Ebay board, but I do see your posts often (and I don't stray very far!).

I don't see the rude sarcastic comments that you refer to though, but as I say, perhaps you take the replies a little too personally.
