Well after a letter from someone else on the forum and from me to Debt Rccovery Plus I had a reply to my letter this morning.
UKPC have advised DRP of the situation at Wakefield and DRP have confirmed to me that they will be cancelling all the tickets they are chasing on UKPC's behalf.

They are of the understanding that UKPC didnt recieve notification from their client that the area was to be adopted, as soon as they were made aware of the situation they supposedly stopped issueing tickets ?? they are also in the process of removing signage from the highway.

Re the signage .....i'm watching !

now to get UKPC to refund ALL RK or drivers that have paid up since Nov 11th 2011 and get DVLA a rollocking.
You may click thanks if you found my advice useful

I have to say hats off to DRP for stopping their side of things :T

Yes, very magnanimous of them considering they effectively had no choice but to do it or get sued.

Now, if they were to stop harassing people to pay unenforceable invoices by falsely claiming that they are enforceable...

I'm sure we would ALL take our hats off to them! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Yes, come on DRP.

PPCs are giving debt recovery firms (it's a dirty job, but someone's got to do it) a bad name.
The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life. :)

UKPC - Yes we were aware that the council took over the road but did nothing about it as it was a good money maker for us. We would have gotten away with it if it wasn't for the pesky people whom contacted the council.

Possibly a stupid question but here goes

Can you just confirm that the original parking charge notice was issued after the salient date in November and on one of those LA adopted roads?

Issued Feb 2012 on road adopted Nov 11....I've been in communication with muckybutt....
