They were "tickets" nev, though according to another victim she hasnt seen any there since March so maybe they have taken notice, though that doesnt excuse them for the 100's they've already issued and have been paid for.
After speaking with this other victim earlier this issue might also go into the estate that was patrolled by them, from what she said the council had adopted a few roads around there, apparently uKPC have been told they can only ticket cars parked in numbered bays ie private spaces as we see all to commonly in residential blocks.
I now have the councils roads adoption officers name so she'll be getting a call tomorrow see what else I can dig up and get in writing if I can.
If UKPC are reading this there are now 6 victims that have come forward 4 of which you are still persuing 1 has paid - so you owe them, and 1 you let off.You may click thanks if you found my advice useful0 -
The Police should take an interest, cant see any difference really!

Do you think we've discovered who ppeterson is? (Was?) :rotfl:0 -
http://g.co/maps/u75d9 According to WDC Chaloner Grove - Tuke Grove have certainly been adopted as well as Bevan Grove, as has the service road to The Elm Apartments.
These were all adopted on November 11th 2011 as confirmed by the roads adoption officer.
I had a pop down there earlier and found three signs still in place on what is now the public highway, so me being me I decided to phone UKPC and tell them - spoke to a lady on their customer service desk and after explaining they had signs on a public highway she put the phone down on me ! .... charming ..... excellent customer service UKPC.
View up Bevan Grove.

So UKPC your signs are still on a public highway, if they go missing you'll be able to collect them from West Yorks Police, handed in as found on the roadYou may click thanks if you found my advice useful0 -
Yes, leave the signs there!
If they want to dig a big hole for themselves, don't take their shovel off them!!!Je Suis Cecil.0 -
Met the press down there this afternoon with the other victims
Interesting that we were photographed by an unknown person ? who then proceeded to walk off and get on the blower to someone ????? UKPC employee ?????
Should be in the Wakefield Express tomorrow.
UKPC said they hadnt been informed of the change from private to council, strange seeing as the council had informed them. They told the press they would investigate any complaint made about tickets issued incorrectly - strange then that they are ignoring victims that have complained and still persist in harrassing them for money NOT owed to them.
Anyhow I spoke at length to a charming lady at consumerfocus this morning after sending some details to them they were very interested in the case. Im not going into details on open forum what was discussed but suffice to say there will be lots of emails and letters from this chatThankyou to the lady concerned :T she's read the thread

what wold the likely outcome be of any action taken agains this company?
would they have a word with the old boys club so all they get is a slap on the wrist, and an apology as it was a genuine mistake followed by a denial of all responsability.
One would hope the outcome would be that UKPC have to refund anyone who has recieved a ticket from them on this site since 11th Nov 2011.
Once TS are on board it would be nice to see them pulled over hot coals in court, not beyond the realms of probability I might add.
Genuine mistake and slapped wrist dont really come into £1000's obtained by deception.
The problem now is - they know they have been issuing tickets illegally, council have told them this. Thing is they are still persuing for tickets issued post adoption, and are ignoring and turning down appeals from those who know UKPC are in the wrong. You may click thanks if you found my advice useful0 -
Are they still giving tickets out though ?Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0
