A quick question,
I am ready to send my 1st 4 bills off for my cashback. It says I have 21 days from the 'issue date'. Can I just check with you all that it means the date the bill was sent out? Not the date the money is collected from my account!
Also I had a little trouble getting my 1st bill paid to orange! it was collected after the 2nd bill. Will I still be eligable for my claims?
Thanks for any help

It is 21 days from the date printed on your 4th bill, the date it was sent out could be several days after this.
You should pay your bill by the date shown, if you pay late you may have lost your entitlement. Why was the payment made late?
Send your claim as normal, if they reject it, post here and someone will advise you.Well life is harsh, hug me don't reject me.0 -
I'm with Orange and thought all details would be passed on to them from TMO.
When 1st bill was due to be paid they put on the bill that they needed my bank details so they could debit my account. I gave them the detail immediately but the 1st bill came out at the same time as the 2nd bill!
Hope its ok as it wasn't my fault the details weren't passed on!
Will send everything off and keep my fingers crossed.

I recieved a letter stating that my final cashback claim (12 month bill for a 6 month £150 cashback claim) had been refused, due to being outside of the 21 day claim period!
Having checked my bill date I was 1 day late. Gutted:mad:
Anyone got any advice on begging for them to get the claim through?0 -
I said a while ago that I'd post the dates of my second cashback claim result in case it was useful to see how late the payments from TMO were running if you don't send any chasing up emails to them.
My second cashback claim was sent RD on 21st. March 2007 and received by them on 22nd. March.
This wasn't acknowledged until 20th. April 2007, and the same day a second email arrrived stating that the claim was successful and would be paid within 28 days.
Email received 3rd. May from them stating that payment would be made by BACS and this went into my account today 8th. May.
If you allow tham a week to acknowledge your first claim this would make them 2 weeks late with the claim. Hardly satisfactory, but it does show that they are processing claims which aren't being chased up.
Hope this is useful. Richard.0 -

Did they pay your previous claim within the 28 days they specify in the terms and conditions? If they didn't, it may be worth using that as leverage, but I don't fancy your chances much.Well life is harsh, hug me don't reject me.0 -
May be an idea, I'll check, thanks.0

BrendaY et al,
I have today posted off cashback claim #2, being slightly behind the drag curve but still well within my 21 days (sorry Brenda, you got the jump on me !!). After my first claim was successful I expect no bother with this one. Obviously I will keep the forum updated as to progress..............Gettin' There, Wherever There is......

Can anyone tell me if they've had any luck contacting TMO by telephone and if so what number should I call?
I've a question about part 2 of my cash back - I got my first part no problem.
The T&C state that I need to send the bills for months 11 and 12 but the wording could be taken to mean send 11 no later than 28 days after the date of the 11th bill and then send month 12 no later than 28 days after the date on the 12th bill. Is there anyone out there that has any experience of this particular package?
Thanks in advance.0 -
mcd - TMO normal thing is to send 11th within 28 days, then 12th within 28 days. Check your wording on your T&Cs......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
