That's a good point. Best to use the registered name of the company you are suing, rather than their trading name. It used to be the case I believe that every detail had to be correct for the claim to be rightly served. For example, it had to be served at their registered address, which could be miles away and just an accommodation address, but nowadays their usual business or trading address will suffice. Also, regarding the company name, unless there is an element of doubt about their identity (e.g. there are more than one company with the same or similar-sounding name), you can use their usual trading name, though to avoid every element of ambiguity, find out their official, registered name. Money Claim online is very strict about having the correct postcode of the defendant so that the claim can be properly served by post.

    To avoid confusion:

The registered office for TMO is:
    3 Brander Close
    Idle
    Bradford
    West Yorkshire
    BD10 8SY

The trading address for TMO is:
    3/4 Riverdale House
    Dockfield Road
    Shipley
    BD17 7AD

P.S. if you want to send flowers or cheese to TMO's director; find it here:

It took a further £35 to issue a warrant( again so simple) to get my £30 back

When you receive a judgement in your favour (even if by default) you are entitled to your costs back. If you issue a warrant and get bailiffs involved you should claim those costs back as well.

TMO are shoddy, unreliable, unhelpful and at times positively deceitful, I would have no hesitation in suggesting that anyone given a choice should have no dealings with them.

It's a shame that TMO appear to be so unreliable as I was just about to order a mobile contract with them...Until I read this thread.

    A good job I did.

Sounds like it is not really worth all the hassle.

Sorry, i may not have put myself over as clearly as i meant. I did receive payments for my original cashback of £192 + £30 for my action through moneyclaims online. As tmo didnt appear to be responding to myself or the court decision i followed through with a warrant, which means bailiffs physically land on their doorstep and pursues payment there and then. This £35 was also retrieved.

All in all tmo have paid out £65 needlessly - showing that the average joe can take on a company for monies rightfully theirs and succeed. Stick to your guns cause they dont like ccjs against them as its bad for business.

Good day to you all:beer:

Clause 11.3 of TMO T&C's says:

In month 4 of your contract you will need to forward bills 1through to 4 to us within 21 days of the issue date on bill number 4.

My problem is the first bill was received more than 1 month after start of contract. So, when I get bill 4 I will actually be in month 5 of my contract!

I wonder which is more important to send in (3) bills in month 4 or wait until I have 4 bills and send them in (in month 5).

    Anyone else experienced this?

    Kevin

I was in exactly the same position, TMO told me to wait until I had 4 bills to send in, I did this and they have accepted my claim.
