I haven't seen this query posted anywhere so I'm hoping TMO or something else might be able to assist me.

My bill date is 1st of the month and my bill dated 1 March is my 12th bill. Its now 13 March and I'm getting close to the deadline for when TMO require my final claim. I've contacted my network provider 3, who have said that I should have received my bill already.

Is there anything that can be done if I don't receive it on time as its no-one's fault? Well Royal Mail probably are.......but that's another post!

I'm on O2 and sometimes suffer two weeks between the date of the bill and when I receive it (and I don't think it is always down to the RM....), but you could ask (insist) 3 to send a copy. They may charge you, but it is better than losing your cashback.

Wow, I have to say the TMO, continues to amaze me these days.

Ok, I had ordered a phone last week, which after speaking to a very polite Mr. 'N', I had to cancel due to issues in their system, then again my father ordered yesterday, which was again cancelled due to their system not recognising our address.
Once again, my father ordered the same phone this morning, which again had some issues in the ordering process, I subsequently was told to fax our address verification docs.
To my amazement, the same very courteous & polite Mr 'N' from TMO, called me up twice at 17:30 & 17:40 today to get my dad's order sorted.

I do not want to appear to promoting TMO or taking sides,
But I have to say, well done TMO for getting your act together & being a more professional outfit :T :T :T

    Keep it up.

Just realised something else! Hope it makes sense:

I ordered 2 phones from TMO on £35/month contracts but I ordered them about 5 days apart. The first bill T-mobile sent me was £35 for Phone 1 only.

In the second month, I received my first combined bill. This was for £35 for Phone 1 and about £65 for Phone 2.

However, for Phone 2 I had been billed £35 for month 2 and Month 1 but minus the 5 days difference in connection dates which was about £30.

In month 3 and month 4 I received combined bills for the full £35 for each phone.

So my bills are staggered like this, will I receive a month 13 for Phone 2 only with the 5 days I wasn't billed for in month 1?

And does this mean I'll end up receiving 13 bills and have to send in 1-12 for phone 1 and 2-13 for Phone 2?

Any help appreciated, is anyone in, or been in, a similar situation?

Wow, yeah, this is exactly why I've refrained myself on a number of occasions on ordering in quick succession.

Or Couldn't u, call up T-Mobile and give them explicit instructions to send yourself 2 seperate bills for ur different phones ?

    Anybody, any ideas ???
    Bump.

    Hi all

I sent an email to forumqueries, cashback and sales @themobileoutlet.co.uk asking whether I need to send the top page or all the pages (itemised). Got a response from forumqueries that only top page is required but from sally (sales) that all pages should be included.
Anyway, I am cancelling my bill itemisation as it costs money and I don't really need it. So taking the email from forumqueries@themobileoutlet.co.uk as my stand in case they try to dodge the claim, I've sent top pages through recorded delivery yesterday. I've retained scanned copies of them as well..Lets see what happens...
I think it would be nice of TMO if they can explain on this front once and for all on the top of this thread here. In their T&Cs, it clearly says though that copy bills are NOT acceptable, so I would't advise anyone to try that!!

    Cheers..
    Kunal.

I too cancelled the itemisation but that means that I only get one page (two sides); so it isn't an option to not send any details.

I'd be careful with any advice given differing from T&C, if your claim is rejected because you didn't follow the T&C, you may struggle to prove that you had been advised you could (especially as each time you ask someone different at TMO, they give a different response).

  • I order a mobile on 11-04-2006 from the mobile outlet website,I got the mobile package with three documents( a sale invoice,a money refund policy and 3 vochers for money refund.)
it seems very good start, but that is the beginning of a bad dream.
I followed the instruction send my bills and voucher to the address they gave me. later I got feedback text from them, told me to wait 30 days .I wait and wait, after One month,No any news,I sent a letter to them, and I got another text later(same with the first).I wait and wait for another two month,I sent the second letter, later,I got the same text to tell me wait another 30 days.
later,I phoned them a few times and wrote another two letters to them, but until now,I have not got any penny from them, and they even not give me a right answer .

Phone them, tell them that if you dont get your money with 7 days you will issue court proceeding. If that dont work then issue court proceeding online throught here: https://www.moneyclaim.gov.uk/csmco2/index.jsp

It cost £30 and you will get that back too. They will pay up straight away once they received the court letter, goodluck.

    Hi,

It would appear you forwarded your bills to Vanilla Mobile and not The Mobile Outlet. We used Vanilla Mobile as a fulfilment partner last year. It looks as though they included their claim documents rather than our documuments and instructions with your mobile phone. If you can forward your details to forumqueries@themobileoutlet.co.uk - we will look into your order and try and resolve any issues.
