TMO. I pmed you the following well over a week ago and have received no reply from you:
"Hi
My oh and me both sent our 11 then our 12 month bills to you with reply paid envelopes. The 12 month ones reached you over 28 days ago. this morning we both received our 12 month bill (or 1 of the 2 sheets of it) back, along with the redemption vouchers we'd completed and our covering letters. Firstly, when will we receive our 11 month bill, and the other sheet of our 12 month bill back. Secondly when will we get the cashback cheque - we both had emails which were not sent until appx 28 days after you'd received our 12 month bill, that suggested that we'd now have to wait 28 days. I don't really feel this is satisfactory - surely it should be 28 days from when you receive the bill from us, not 28 days from when you choose to acknowledge receipt. My mobile no. is (removed prior to this posting) my partners is (removed prior to this posting)"
As you haven't replied by pm, and I have received no cashback cheque, or the rest of my bills back, perhaps you can reply on this message board. After our 6 month cashback arrived so efficiently, we were all ready to declare ourselves satisfied customers, but it seems the sentiments of this board are perhaps a fair reflection of the copmpany after all.0 -

Hi,
We apologise if you have not received a reply to your PM. Someone will be looking into your message tomorrow and reply accordingly.

just thought i'd add my view here. i got a TMO phone on a year contract which now i wish i didnt bother. i cant be bothered now to claim cash back and i want to go back on a pay as you go.
three are cr_p, their services are often unavailable and they add charges on top of your monthly bill for things you didnt even realise costed anything.
what is the purpose of the mobile outlet? what good are they doing in the world? taking advantage of some people and other people taking advantage of their deals. they are not needed, why not just get a contract with a mobile provider and pay a little bit. who really wants the hassle of dealing with a bunch of cowboys?
anyway i am going to terminate my direct debit and face whatever consequences arise. i dont really care if i have to pay off the rest of the years bill. i'd rather do that then have all the time and hassle of claiming cash back i probably wont get. i have enough of my time taken up working i dont want to come home and have to deal with all this.
i made a bad decision by considering and signing up to a cash back deal. i'm just going to get rid of it and go back to pay as you go at least i am in control then, and my phone takes up no more of my time than necessary. after all , its only an object their for me to contact other people in other places. we lived without them not too long ago!!0 -

it's a motorola, i did held the key down till in started blinking. still didn't work
and there were no instruction nores or box nothing with it no good packaging
any1 else has the same prob ??If electricty comes from electrons, does morality come from morons?0 -
Try this mate, if that doesnt work then I would say its faulty
1) tun on the headset while it is shut until the blue light comes on and stays on constantly, open the headset immeadiatly. light should stay consant.
2) now go to paired items on your phone and add new. it should find the headset no probs
3) enter pass key...might take one or two attempts.0 -
Been reading money saving expert.com chat about all the problems with TMO mobile contract.
I have experience myself a small portion of this
I had my contract signed on your web 11months and 28 days ago on 9 october 2006, never had any answer to my claims, send you my first 6 bills by post and with no answer, then went back on TMO web and they changed the T&C and i understood that I have been mislead by MO and heated them very much for this. Now after reading all what other had to go thru with MO i think i deserve an explanation, why MO did not answer my first claim when I sent 1-6 bills from 3, and they did not bother to inform me, as I could claim the rest . MO web T&C had change but there was no info that this did not apply to all contract before 03 July and i assume that those changes applied to me at that time too.
Do you think i have a chance to claim it back one more time?0 -
I'm waiting to place an order with TMO and they're not answering my emails.....
Or letter.......0 -
Followed the contract terms and conditions to the letter, including sending everything 'signed for' and photocopies of all bills and covering letters. First bills sent in January (they were returned to me), had to write and ask them to return dispatch note (they just sent a copy of the T&C on the back, not the note itself (luckily I had copied it). Still no cheque 2 months later. Phoned on 16th March and was told my claim had been approved, and a cheque was to be sent 'that day'. Still has not arrived, so unless lost in the post they have blatantly mislead me. Am about to write to them threatening legal action if it's not here within a week (am not going to feed their bank account by phoning them). Have a legal background, so was dismayed to read the terms and conditions when I first took out the contract, and knew I was in for a fight. By contrast, my daughter has a cashback contract through Virgin, and they've set out the (far far more reasonable) terms and conditions in readable print and the whole thing is user friendly and obviously pro-customer. Will never never deal with Mobile Outlet again, and expect to have to fight for every cheque.0

Just to tell everyone that I recieved my first cashback for £72/- without problems (although after a delay of probabaly 20 days than the 1 month promised). I had sent my original bills and original dispatch note in special delivery.0

No I didn't get a letter with my cheque explaining the reason behind my lower than expected amount. I had to write to them here and on their email addresses. It was sorted out pretty quickly however, again I would just like to reiterate my point to everyone who actually bother to read these posts instead of just ranting on. No, don't expect much of a response from themobileoutlet. It's pretty much they'll answer you if they know the answer and if they want to. If they don't know what you're asking for they will just ignore you usually. No great customer service. Your best bet are the guys here on this forum. Try PM them your issues. Good luck all.0
