saint - as posted earlier today, my cb turned up today, and that was without any threats of court action. It seems like TMO are just getting on with it and getting on top of their processes. Good for them I say......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......

I recieved my final cashback cheque today (for £210). It arrived 5 days after the 28 days specified in the T&Cs.
Credit to TMO for paying out, the only downside is that you have to almost 'pester' them for it.0 -
Can I ask a bit of a thick question? When a deal says free line rental, they mean I have to pay every month then claim through cashback right??!Premier League Baby!0

5 days isn't too bad. No one should have to pester them for their money, but since a 'letter before action' would give them a further 7 days or so, at least they would save the £30 court fee for something more meaningful.Well life is harsh, hug me don't reject me.0 -

Not a 'thick question'. Yes you have to pay each month and by the end of the year after cashback, you should have all the money returned to you.
I would read the last 10 pages of the old thread about this company, and all of this one before using them though.

It is also worth noting that you pay your network direct and then claim the money off your retailer in what are two separate contracts (i.e. if you have any problems with one you cannot expect assistance from the other).
You will have hoops to jump through to get your cashback (i.e. several claims to be done in a certain way within a certain timescale) but that is done so that some can't claim (forget to claim, etc.) to finance those of us that can.
But claim as per the t&c (and make sure they are clear and you understand them) and you have all reason to get your cashback.Toyota - 'Always a better way', avoid buying Toyota.0 -
I have to say, though, regarding T&Cs, at least TMO do it by Bill No. x, rather than by "the bill after 120 days etc" which in my humble opinion is far better. Have NOT taken other cb deals purely because they were administered in such a way, which is more than open to abuse/misunderstanding/complications.......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......

I agree I find the MO's T&C's easier to understand. I know i will probably slip up with the after xx days conditions, that other companies have."He's a maniac, maniac that's for sure,
He will kill your cat and nail him to the door"

There are plenty of people that have stuck to the terms and conditions and still not had their cashback within the 28 days stipulated.Well life is harsh, hug me don't reject me.0

I have bought 2 phones from TMO.
I'm about to claim for my first cashback instalment for them when I receive my next bill in a couple of days.
I've been in touch with TMO by E-mail frantically the last week or so to ascertain whether I can:
1) claim for both in the same envelope or not,
2) whether they'll accept photocopies of one bill, both or neither and
3) whether I need to send the entire bill or just the front page.
I've E-mailed the Forum team, the cashback team and the customer service, to receive the following contradictory replies:
1 ) “You need to claim both cashbacks separately. If both numbers are on 1 bill we can accept photocopies for the 2nd phone.”
2) “Just send the summary pages for the phone you are claiming for.
We can accept photocopies.”
3) “You can send the first two page of each bill, and include in the covering
Not [sic] that you are claiming for two contracts”
And finally this one from the Forum Query team
4) “You do not have to send claims separately [sic] as this requirement is not part of our terms and conditions. Copy bills are acceptable and you only need to include page 1 of each bill your sending as part of yourclaim [sic].”
I'M CONFUSED!!!!!
Can anyone help clear this up?
Thanks for your time.0
