    Hi
I have a bit situation which I am not sure what to do.

I already have T-mobile (relax 200 18months taken on 2ng August 2006) from THE LINK and took another contract (Flext 35 12months) from The Mobile Outlet on 14th Feb 2007.

Now the problem is, as I already had account with T-Mobile so they simply added this new one to the existing one. As a result I am getting one ONE bill for both contracts.

I have talked to T-Mobile and they are useless. they can not produce two separate bills as the contracts are on the same name. I have to trasfer one phone to another name (and lose my cashback :naughty: )

could you please tell me if TMO will accept this combined bill when I send my cash back calim in JUNE.

    Thanks

I have bought 2 phones from TMO.

I'm about to claim for my first cashback instalment for them when I receive my next bill in a couple of days.

I've been in touch with TMO by E-mail frantically the last week or so to ascertain whether I can:

    1) claim for both in the same envelope or not,

    2) whether they'll accept photocopies of one bill, both or neither and

    3) whether I need to send the entire bill or just the front page.

I've E-mailed the Forum team, the cashback team and the customer service, to receive the following contradictory replies:

1 ) “You need to claim both cashbacks separately. If both numbers are on 1 bill we can accept photocopies for the 2nd phone.”

    2) “Just send the summary pages for the phone you are claiming for.
    We can accept photocopies.”

    3) “You can send the first two page of each bill, and include in the covering
Not [sic] that you are claiming for two contracts”

And finally this one from the Forum Query team

    4) “You do not have to send claims separately [sic] as this requirement is not part of our terms and conditions. Copy bills are acceptable and you only need to include page 1 of each bill your sending as part of yourclaim [sic].”

    I'M CONFUSED!!!!!

Can anyone help clear this up?

    Thanks for your time.

Oops, it seems like their communication skills do not extend to their right hand talking to their left.

If I were you I would

    1. Make two claims in individual envelopes.

    2. Send original bills.

    3. Send the entire bill.

Send it all by Special delivery

It is overkill, but you need to protect yourself.
Well life is harsh, hug me don't reject me.

Hi, i've just joined this forum to share my experience with The Mobile Outlet. I ordered two phones from them last year, one for my girlfriend and a second for my brother. I applied for cashback for my girlfriend in November and after a long wait (over 28 days) i did receive a cheque for one fifth of the total line rental.
However, when i sent my brother's claim off, around a month after i sent my girlfriend's, i received a letter stating that the claim had been rejected due to not providing the despatch note. This was a blatant lie because i was fully aware that the despatch note needed to be sent and had been reading the original thread on this site way before i sent off any claim. I responded via email and letter and have since sent a further letter in response to a letter stating they will make a goodwill gesture payment.
I sent off my girlfriend's second claim a while ago and have received a response saying details passed to the account department to issue payment. I am still dealing with my brother's first claim and his second claim is due soon!!
I am really suprised people still want to buy phones from this company after all the comments that have been written about them. I was really annoyed that i never came across this forum BEFORE i ordered both phones. I would never have gone anywhere near them, will never go anywhere near them again and never knowingly let anyone i know go near them. They are a complete joke of a company that provide nothing but headache. I think if you order anything from them then you are taking one hell of a chance in terms of getting cashback. I would much rather use Dial a Phone or One Stop Phone Shop, they at least send out payment when the customer does everything that is required. I will battle to the end to obtain cashback for my brother, i completed both claims in exactly the same way so to tell me a despatch note is not included is to insult my intelligence. It will be an absolute miracle if all cashback is paid on both contracts, i don't expect this to happen and await the 12 months to run out so both can be cancelled.
I just want to say again that you need avoid this company if you want a hassle free life. Cashback deals are a risk anyway, at least go with a major company that has something to lose by failing. Go for companies owned by Carphone Warehouse or similar. 12 month free deals are fabulous when The Link offer them but they are way to risky when these micky mouse companies hand them out. If you don't mind hassle and aggrovation then The Mobile Outelt are for you, if you want a stress free life or would rather have to deal with problems that relate to something bigger than a mobile phone contract then STAY AWAY!

Just to let you all know that I shall be passing my claim onto the court this evening so that it is proceeded upon tomorrow. Harjj you have my complete sympathy, and I would suggest that you contact the forum query team by email, you never know they just might be able to help you? I don't understand how TMO works at all. I faithfully sent in my 1st set of bills 7 days after my billing date. Nothing was mentioned in their T&C's about sending via Recorded Delivery, so I didn't bother. Indeed there still is no mention of this on their web site today (I checked). Hindsight is a wonderful thing. I stuck to the deal and they did not. Why I should be held financially responsible for the TMO's poor admin is beyond me. The fact that it appeared to take them several weeks to acknowledge receipt of my paperwork is something I resent having to pay for, and has sadly driven me to court. I've never done anything like this in my life!, but I won't back down when, as far as I'm concerned, I've done nothing wrong.

Phew ... I'll keep you all posted!

    YAWN.....
    BORING ..........

Why can't all do-gooders mind their own business, instead of warning people of avoiding companies like the plague, bla , bla, bla......

Ok, there may be a number of people with genuine grievances, but hell, just passing non-sensical comments that they are a joke, bla, bla, is just silliness.

If people were already so smart, then why do they even bother going themselves, near such so called "joke" & "dubious" companies.

I've had 4 contracts with the TMO, over the last 2 years, and have had only an issue with them once, with was duly solved by the CS Team, and still got 2contracts this year going with them. And, no , i won't be avoiding with them like the plague coz they've still got better deals than most of the companies out there.

And, yes, ur bound to end up crying and banging ur head against the wall :wall: , if u aren't meticulous enough with ur paperwork. Theres a point that the T&Cs are designed in a way that people would forget to claim their cashbacks.

But, if ur smart enough to enter a cashback deal, u should be smart enough to keep up with paperwork, the deadlines and pleasseee people start using special delivery to send ur claims, if u've got £200 invested in the bills, another few ££££s shouldn't hurt so much.

C'mon guys, I thought all the bickering was behind us on this thread. Let's try and keep it constructive on here. Yes, we know TMO have had problems, but via this forum they've been actively trying to help sort people's problems. I suggest that if you have a problem, e-mail the forum queries team at forumqueries@themobleoutlet.co.uk as this seems to be the most reliable way to contact them, and give them chance to help before posting all the negative vibes.

Has anyone who applied for cashback in mid February received a confirmation email to say that their claim has been received and is being processed? I got one when I applied for my first cashback in November but haven't received one this time.....
