I'm afraid I've had similar experiences - ie no response to letters, emails and PM's on this forum and I've sent out a "letter before action" giving them 7 days to resolve my issue. I sent my bills in for months 1-4 (nothing was mentioned about Recorded Delivery on my T&C's) on 20th October. I received acknowledgement on 9th December(?) and they have therefore rejected my claim. (My bill date was 14th October). As far as I'm concerned I sent the paperwork in accordance with their timeline and they are, I believe in breach of contract.
I'll also keep you posted .....

Could you tell us what date you sent a 'Letter before action'?
    It helps others understand timelines.
Well life is harsh, hug me don't reject me.

The "Letter Before Action" has been typed today, and will go tomorrow first class. Hope that helps.

Hiya, just want to check a few things before I send off my first claim (don't want to do it wrong and lose my cashback!).

I received my fourth bill yesterday, so as I understand the T&Cs, I need to now send in all my four bills - does this need to be the originals of the bills or will copies do? does it need every page of the bill or just the first page? And I need to send with it the original dispatch note.

Is there anything else I need to send or be aware of?

Oh and when/how does the cashback get paid?

    Thanks!

    Pete

We scanned copies of all bills, sent all pages of the original bills, the dispatch note and a covering letter by recorded delivery.

waited two weeks for he confirmation email and then another three for the cheque.

TMO have said the first page and copies are fine, but why not just send the lot?

...oh and the covering letter just said 'here are the bills as requested' and our details, no need for discussion in it about what will happen if cashback is not forthcoming..;)

    Hi,

As part of your first claim you need to include your original dispatch note and your first 4 bills. We do require the itemised section of your bills. At present we pay the majority of cash back instalments via cheque, but are in the process of moving to paying all cash backs by BACS. You will be notified via email as to how your payment will be processed approximately 2 weeks before it is due.

TMO also recommend 'Special Delivery' and not 'Recorded' ...see earlier in this thread for Cobra's explanation of the risks.

time for my second claim and i too need bills 5, 6 and 7.
but low and behold. O2CPW has labelled bill 7 as bill '8'. This has happened to a few people on here also. will this be a factor in my claim?
also there first cheque they sent me was for £84. but my line rental is 29.99. 4 equal cashback amounts to £89.97. at this rate i'm going to be out of pocket by £23.88!

I hope not. The same has happened to me. I sent the claim on 15th Feb and I see from the Royal Mail website that it was recieved on 16th, but so far I've had no acknowledgement from TMO that my claim has been received or is being processed? I'm beginning to get worried.
