I need to prefix all my posts "I'm getting gaga so forgive me if this has already been covered or is irrelevant"
Mouthscradle - I don't think you've mentioned eye colour, which us usually a pointer (but not always, as we have seen).
Blue/grey = cool
Brown/hazel = warm.
Could that help, combined with your other observations?

Thank you both
I asked someones opinion who knows me and they said they think I'm fair and cool with pink undertones, I have blue eyes with med brown hair. All of my freckles have come out in the sun today though and dare I say it, but I can even see a hint of tan on my face so perhaps I will be more of a fair-medium in the summer.
I've been reading the forum they have on the EM website, it's quite good actually. Once my samples have come I'm going to try out all 6 foundations and hopefully get a good idea of my shade, then I want to try the healing foundation from EB. I will probably put in another order from EM though for probably a kit and order a couple of kabukis in there and maybe a bronzer and eyeshadow, as they have the long-handled kabukis I'm after.
Really can't wait to try out my foundations nowMy flawless face brush should arrive on tuesday so I know what I'm going to be doing on tuesday afternoon...

Oh and one last question, does anyone use the green concealer for redness? And does it actually work? I can't get my head around it, it's one of those things that just sounds wrong cos it conjures images of having a green-tinged face at the end, but lots of people seem to say it works. I wouldn't need it all over but I do have areas around my chin and round my nose that are a bit red either from broken capillaries or old blemishes. Do you dust it on before foundation? Thanks!Mother, wife, scientist, analyst.

Don't worry about green concealer until you've used your new foundation and concealer from EM - you may find it does the job

As verona says, you may not need it.
I SOMETIMES need it because I have roseacea and when that flares I need all the help I can get and the green certainly does kill the redness. However you need to use it sparingly and I mean sparingly as it can make you look like a ghost. I use a thin layer before foundation. I dont use enough so that all red is wiped out, just enough to dull it down. Then my foundation does the rest. In the case of the green, less really is more0 -
Hi, just had a quick skim through this thread, theres too many posts for me to read them all, so please forgive me if this question has already been asked before. Been looking at the Elemental beauty website, am planning on ordering some samples. The last lot of mineral make-up I used was body shops, and I must say I found it so easy to use, however, the body shops brushes i bought with the make up werent washable so i had to chuck the brushes away when the I finished the pot, not very mse , was wondering if anyone could tell me if this applies to all mineral make-up brushes or is it just the ones from bodyshop?
Thanx

I use Bare Escentuals brushes and they wash up a treat. Never heard of anyone throwing any away.
Have you actually tried washing them? If you are going to throw them out anyway, you have nothing to lose.
Re the green it really clogs when I put it on with a concealer brush. Does anyone else have this issue, or any hints and tips?
Thanks from a fellow Rosacea sufferer.:hello:0 -

Dont use the concealer brush, you need to buff it on like you would foundation - before your foundation.
Just use a tint amount, your face will just look a bit pale- add foundation, wait a while. If you need to add more do so very lightly over the top of the foundation then I sometimes !!! another layer of foundation
The trick is light layers - dont plaster it on. At first if you have done it right you wont notice much of a difference, only as it warms up it seems to work. Too much and you will look like a ghost (been there and have the t shirt)
