however if you want to spend a bit more money I would go for the Everday minerals flat top brush, you can also add in a 'try me free' kit into your shopping basket! I use everday mineral foundation and I have seen so many good reviews for their brushes...

Yes, me too. I have googled "best mineral make-up brushes" and quite few forums came up with EDM flat brushes songs of praise;)
But they are out of stock:( Checked Ebay and Amazon and nothing:(

Managed to buy Sable retractable one from Hong Kong though for 99p. Didn't exactly mean to but it was 99p, retractable and had butterflies on... Couldn't resist:rotfl: Will be good for traveling.

I think I will wait for the EveryDay Mineral one to come to stock then...

i've heard good things about elf's brushes

    http://www.eyeslipsface.co.uk/product~prodID~39.htm

    kabuku brush: http://www.eyeslipsface.co.uk/product~prodID~88.htm

I keep meaning to order some but i've not got round to it yet so i cant offer much advice. Not much to lose for the price especially if you can find a free delivery code.

some are better than others. I've got the Kabuki and powder brushes and they seem OK (the are from the slightly more expensive studio collection).
I got a cheaper £1.50 eyeshadow brush that was recommended on you tube, and it shread half of its hair, one day so bad that I got them in my eyes while I was applying eyeshadow. It hurt! The brush went straight into the bin!

Yeah, my current kabuki also sheds and it's nightmare. Especially when I have white top on and then brush it away by hands... sometimes it leaves tiny make-up marks on my top.
  • Hi, have you tried JGlamour brushes? They have mineral brushes and can be bought individually or as a mineral brush set. Search for jglamour.

    Thank you.
I just this morning bought Mac cosmetics brush no 187 on Ebay as I have read great reviews about it. But I will put a note down of the name if the brush turns out no good.

1,000 Posts Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
I got a Mac one from ebay and it turned out to be fake :( But i only paid about a £5 but i complained to the seller and he let me have it for free...gave me a refund and told me to keep it...but even though it's fake its a really good brush, never sheds and feels fab so i wasn't too upset...oh yea and free :D

I've also got an ELF kabuki which is fine for my mineral blusher but i find it too scatchy for foundation and mine does shed.

I've tried three kabuki brushes so far. Avon sheds and is quite stiff so it feels a bit scratchy. Ruby & Millie (boots) sheds too, nice & soft though.
QVS (Tesco cheapy) not much shedding so far but not as soft as Ruby & Millie. (My eyeshadow brushes from ELF are ok)
I like to have 2 so I can alternate them and wash them. Still looking for one that doesn't leave me with a hairy chest! :D

I have to say that I am awaiting nervously it's arrival as I wonder whether it is fake. But saying that - as long as it doesn't shed I don't really care that much!! The thing is that so many brushes shed and I really don't like sheding.. It is very annoying.
