    Me too, Suki.

I'm letting you do the explainin' cos I'm so mentally tired, what with e-cigs and researching a "new" laptop (the latter involving replies from scornful young men waving their willies who haven't read the question :( ).

But I heartily support what you say!

Lead me to the young men waving their willies - or has the lack of nicotine caused you to hallucinate again?:rotfl::rotfl:

And where jeanine? Last I heard she was off to look at a dog and not heard a word since?

Thanks guys, I've tried the mineral powder samples - from one of the online stores -lola-or something like that, but didn't really like the finish it gave. I have very variable skin and liquid seems to suit it better. Maybe I'll try a powder again.

There are many minerals to try. Just remember those sold in chemists and supermarkets will be filled with talc (which is a mineral but its cack on our faces)

Whats the problem with the finish? Huge pores?

PRESTIGE mineral makeup on sale in boots is 100% and very good:)
  • Ok so I've been a commited Lily Lolo fan since I first discovered MMU a year or two ago, but after reading bits of this thread on a few occasions now, I'm going to try Elemental beauty!

I normally use LL's candy cane foundation, but I think it is not quuiiite the right shade sometimes...mainly in winter when I am paler- I do sometimes mix shades but that is a bit of a faff, and takes some trial and error. And since so many on here find EB so good, I've ordered some samples! Looking forward to trying it!

Unfortunately not in any Boots near me :(

But thankyou for the heads up and the correction :D

Just looked at the website, looks very impressive and although it has additions to it, dont seem to be cheap fillers.

How are you finding the finish? And colour matches?

Has anyone ever bought from here: http://www.thepureboutique.com/shop/

They do a sampler of 20 bags for 12 Canadian dollars, so I'm wondering if its worth it, plus P&P works out at about £12 in total, but seeing minerals last for so long, might be worth it?

and I'm wearing it today - I ordered the mineral foundation and the concealer. So far I'm really impressed, by this time of day I would normally have had to touch up my foundation and reapply powder at least once, but the ELF foundation's still in place and looking really good. I've not really figured out the concealer yet, but I'm going to check online tonight and see how best to use it (I've never used mineral make-up before). Also I've got pretty sensitive skin, but I've had no itching or anything. The foundation is definitly worth a try, and at £3.50 a go, you're not going to break the bank if it's not what you're looking for :D

P.S I also got the clear mascara which is quite nice, and the Kabuki Face brush which all the bristles keep falling out of

I've just been sorting through all my cosmetics, in need of some different products because my skin is doing my head in.

First, can one of you please explain to me about OCM? All I know is that it involves castor oil and olive oil - that's what I've seen on this thread. I need to sort out the blackheads and oil slick on my nose. It's not fair to be still having these problems along with wrinkles and grey hair!!
Where do I buy castor oil? Do I need special type? Do I put the oil on my face when it's wet or dry? And what do I do, just rub it in? How does it come off? Presumably water alone won't shift it?

Second, I'm giving my lovely Elemental Beauty samples another try. I found a gorgeous shade that is perfect on me but I was struggling with coverage.
I've picked up some tips on the thread like don't look when you're applying it, or try two very light layers then leave ti alone etc..will try those. But I do have a little red vein on my chin that needs a bit of coverage - any advice for that? And what do you EB ladies do about dark circles under your eyes? Do you just use your normal foundation there?

Sorry for all the questions would really appreciate some help.
