Hello anniehanlon
I'll move your thread to the 'Health & Beauty' board.

its Loreal True Match which is a mineral make up. Brilliant, I;m getting on a bit and have age spots on my face which i usually try to cover with a concealer stick and is never very successful. this Tru Match stayed on all day, my age discolouration stayed covered up for hours and hours £13.99 and worth every penny. Superdrug sell it at this price, far less than the shopping channels or ebay.
That is brill.
I've not tried L'Oreal as I'm not sure if it is pure minerals and I find that the pure ones suit me.
But aren't they great for coverage - it really puts you off using liquid stuff or pan stick type stuff. Feels nice and light and I know it will not aggravate my skin. And no need for a concealer stick cos it seems to blend it all in.Genie

Hi all
I have been using the true match by loreal for almost a year now and i love it! The lightest shade available is called golden ivory and that is the one i use as i have really pale skin and it is fab!0 -
it has nasty cheap talc in it.
can be hugely irritating to some skin types.
it' isn't pure minerals0 -
Theres a HUGE thread on here about mineral make-up.
I've tried a few, including the L'oreal and Avon - but have found that the pure mineral ones are much much nicer, looking and on the skin.
I'm 36 and still prone to spots once a month (inside i'm still a teenager!), and the pure mineral make up has been brilliant for my skin.:beer:0 -

Hi Genie and Anniehanlon,
I'm almost sure that L'Oreal has talc in it as a filler, not that this is a bad thing in itself as talc is good for absorbing excess oil.
I've been looking at other mineral ranges and was surprised to find that Bare Escentuals (that I used to use for years) contains Bismuth Oxychloride which is more of a problem for a lot of people with sensitive skin - it's a metal element that seldom occurs in nature. Instead, it is a by-product of copper and lead refining, or is manufactured synthetically. Elemental Beauty doesn't contain bismuth nor does the ERTH range which I don't think has been mentioned, but it's available from Amazon. Some people hear voices, some see invisible people. Others have no imagination whatsoever

Talc is carcinogenic
As for the BE bismuth thing - that was covered early on in the thread. I have exceptionally sensitive skin, and have had no problems whatsoever with BE.
I didn't like EB at all - just didn't seem to work for me.:A MSE's turbo-charged CurlyWurlyGirly:AThinks Naughty Things Too Much Clique Member No 3, 4 & 5
