I've been waiting for a parcel to be picked up since 4th April!!!!!!!!!!! It contains lots of pressies for my cousin's new baby boy in India and I am getting fed up waiting... I paid weeks ago by cheque and still no pick up...  I keep ringing them and it just keeps ringing and then says "please call again later!"
Even after repeated daily emails I still have no pick up of my parcel dating back to 4th April... They have cashed my cheque weeks ago as well... Still nobody picks up the telephone when I call them either...0 -

Well my parcel has now finally been picked up by TNT and is heading to Selective International's office... I then presume that it will go on to India... I have no idea when.... and how I can track it...0 -
I've been lurking on this forum for ages and felt I must post about Selective
They have got to be one of the worst companies I have dealt with, I can't put specific details up yet as I am currently in disputes with them. I used alternative parcel couriers who advertise on ebay and have now found a reliable company who treat their customers well.0 -

I wish Selective would answer the phone to me so I could get into a dispute with them!!! Who knows where my parcel to India is now and when it will be sent to my cousin... :mad:0 -

Hello
Sorry to hear of problems you have experieced with Kevin at Selective.I find the best way to get him to reply is via Instant Message. He usually is around in the morning around 0800 when his cute little face pops up on my screen.
Why that terrible photo? You just want to grab his chubby cheeks with both hands.
It's sad that some of you have tried his service and have had problems with
'his customer service'.It's hilarious to read some of his customer service skills
in his Ebay feedback. Not so nice if it's you though.
I know Kevin reads this website,or let's say he used too,as you will see he has commented in the past. It's also fair to say that again according to his Ebay feedback he has alot of satisfied customers and was honest in saying
that he had problems over Christmas and the carriers changeover. Some feedback does seem to put the customer as being out when the collection takes place.I do like to look at things from both sides.
Unfortunately he may not realise that a few bad comments are keeping alot of potentially new customers from using his service, which isn't good business sense.Of course it's when things go wrong that customers worry and Kevin
needs to try harder here.
I must apologise to some degree as I did start another thread advising members
about some cracking deals on Ebay with Selective.I have yet to see the bad side of Selective(apart from the reports),as all my parcels have been collected and delivered to time. His bad feedback was there when I started using him though, but I'm a cheap scate and he was cheap.
I do hope that some members have also used Selective to their benefits but
just I'm sorry if it hasn't worked for you.
Intresting that he has decided to stop using paypal.(Of course unhappy customers will want refunds and this must be costing him).Without paypal this must be also putting off alot of new customers.
Lastly, at least it would appear there are a handful of other Ebay sellers competing with Kevin and it would appear that alot of good comments are being made regarding their services and customer service. On top of that it's
brilliant that you can send a next day package up to 30kg,with insurance and tracked for around £4.99 or £3.99 for two day service.(check terms for package measurements and service offered)
Best thing is it's collected also so no more queing at the post office and paying big money without any insurance or tracking.
We want these companies to survive and do well. Please give them your support if you can.Don't get ripped off and think only the Royal Mail can help you.Good luck to you all and sorry it's been a long post this time.:money: :beer:0 -

I understand what you are saying and appreciate these 'new' companies. I would love them to succeed. But just look at my case... 3 weeks for my parcel to India to be picked up... Its now presumably at Kevin's office and I know nothing about where my parcel is and has it been sent to India. The phone number either says call back or like today I left a message and no response. Approx 1 in 8 emails get a reply... Its not good!!! My parcel is worth approx £100 and I dont know where it is. I also paid for Air Mail postage 3 weeks ago and its probably still in the UK. HEEEEEEEEELP!!! :eek:0 -
I too am a cheap skate and badly want to use his services. He is the only courier company that offers international postage at a reasonable rate. I have been calling for 3 days now trying to book a collection but he just will not answer the phone!
I also filled out the booking form. Am I supposed to fill it out every day until my pacakge gets collected?0 -

Thanks! Well nobody answered my phone calls today or returned my answerphone messages at Selective International... I also sent my daily email... Lets just hope Kevin has received the parcel at his office and its on its way to India. The contents of the parcel included baby clothes for my cousin's recently born son. Lets hope they still fit him by the time they receive the parcel! :rolleyes:0 -
I have used them in the past with no problems, but now notice you send cheque as payment (which I did), and filled in the booking form straight away.
I have had no collection, (for 3 days), and filled in 3 booking forms, emailed them via the contact a seller, and emailed them direct.
I will not be using them again, if they cannot provide the service they are advertising.
