I too have used this company for the first time and the damn parcel is still here. I changed from my usual courier and I wish I hadn't  My buyer is getting angry and I don't have the time to keep staying in waiting for a parcel to be collected I have 3 small children who need to go places etc
I won't be adding this seller to my favourites :rolleyes:Wife to a great husband and mum to 4 fantastic kids 9,8,4,3 they drive me mad but I would do anything and give everything for my family :grinheart

I think there are also unreasonable buyers! Do letter normally arrive within 2 days via royal mail??? My buyer waited 2 weeks after royal mail lost a parcel which I paid £5.45 for and he was very patient. I compensated him well for his patience (sent him a brand new item worth double instead of the used one he had purchased off me). My package also sat here for a day longer after it was not collected on the day I booked it for. But for £4 for upto 30kg, it is an excellent service. Try the royal mail calculator to see how much they would have charged.0 -

You could go straight to Selective's website and book direct from there:

If I book from their website, how long should they take to confirm when the item will be picked up or if I can take it to the nearest depot?
Also there is no payment option?? How do I pay if I book an international package via their website?0 -

I will tell you how I do it, it works for me, so I assume it is the right way
Buy the service using this page: http://selectiveuk.tripod.com/id9.html then pay by paypal making a note of the transaction number.
Then book the parcel using this page: http://selectiveuk.tripod.com/id12.html make sure you put your paypal transaction number in the top field.
At the end of this make sure you click the 'done' button.
I don't get any confirmation emails or anything, and only phone if they miss the first date I put on the form and they tend to pick up on the next day.

Argh, there is no pay option for international packages! They don't answer the phone either.0

Hi Roses
I've just looked on Ebay as well and it looks as if there are no International Delivery options on there for Selective - maybe they are having problems with 'international' at the moment - or are stopping them altogether.
Perhaps Kevin will come on here and let us know?

I already emailed him via Ebay messages about 2 weeks ago & he told me to book via his website0

ok I finally got through after many phone call attempts. The guy told me to make a direct paypal payment as you can't book international via the website.
Does anyone know what the packaging requirements are? Do I address it to my intended recipient? It says on the website I have to use their packaging. But where do I get that from?
Also do they send me confirmation that they will be collecting the package on the specified date, do I receive any reference number?0
