I cringe to think about the damage that has been done to UK business because of the (quite frankly) petty excuses some people come up with on here to crucify start-up businesses creating jobs that wouldn't have previously existed.

How much good is being done to our economy by shipping a container load of cheap TVs (or perhaps just a box of 10) from China and dropping them on the market here?

It would create jobs, but what sort of jobs? People boxing things up in a warehouse somewhere?

What value does that bring to our economy compared with, for example, Cello - a company that most people haven't heard of, but which is manufacturing TVs in the UK rather than just buying them from China? They are no doubt struggling to survive in the face of that sort of competition.

With every dirt-cheap import you buy from China you undermine British-based manufacturers. Shame on you!

that is where you are wrong KJEG, T&C do not have to be printed on the invoice, nor does it require you to sign anything. If that was the case, all online retailers would be up the creek without a paddle.

By agreeing to buy from online retailers, you are agreeing to the T&C and enter into a contract with them. The part where you enter into the contract is a bit murky.

Are you a corporate lawyer? What business experience do you have? Do you have documented evidence that can be referred to such as a website link?

The paranoia all gets a bit much, doesn't it!

I really don't think I can be bothered anymore!

For crying out loud, i hope your all having fun slagging each other off but it is getting a bit dreary and monotonous now. I live in South Wales and i am currently tracking my order from Mansion with Parcelforce and should by all accounts be the second person on here to receive anything from them tomorrow and if it is crap, i will tell you honestly but if by some miracle it is good then i will be honest about that as well. I posted on here hoping to hear from people who were tits like me and ordered from Mansion and what experiences they had with these cowboys but most of the posts have been about getting at KJEG for whatever reason or belief you have about him! Give the guy the benefit of the doubt and if my TV turns up tomorrow then you will know that he has nowt to do with Mansion and was just stating what he believed about them. Just for the record, even if a TV turns up tomorrow, Mansion are a badly setup, badly organised company who i wouldn't buy a penny chew from in the future and seriously need someone to shake them up to put things right or they will simply disappear like a lot of businesses in the UK.

Even if you posted your tracking number on here as I did the "regulars" on here still wouldn't believe you!

    Look forward to your opinions.

On a lighter note,I personally think Mansion TV is the result of Lord Sugar asking his apprentice candidates to set up a TV import company and unfortunately this is what we got!

Out of interest, what size did you order and how long ago? You've probably stated already but I can't be bothered to go through all the dross on here.

I also ordered a 32" on the 5th of this month....Please don't tell me I'm going to end up waiting over a month for a TV that possibly doesn't exist...

    This is a nightmare.

I'll keep an eye out for your opinions. It'll be interesting to see another point of view from a paying customer although I don't know if I can be bothered with this forum for much longer.

Don't worry, the TV exists. This website just isn't reliable because everybody is anonymous.
