Well, having got the TV out of the box, i am pleasantly surprised. The TV looks decent and is certainly no worse looking than Techwood, Technika, Neon etc. tv's. Picture quality is very good and not a blemish on the picture anywhere. Had an issue with no sound after connecting Sky into the scart adaptor and also with HDMI from my Blueray player but after fiddling about, i eventually got sound by connecting up the AV cables and i must admit that the sound quality is also very good.
As this TV is for a bedroom i am really pleased with it and to be totally honest, i would put it in my living room also as it is very good overall.
My only complaint is there was no free HDMI cable as stated when i ordered the TV but i will be emailing Mansion to see where it is.
I still wouldn't purchase anything else from Mansion because of all the arsing about it took to get information from them and threats of action against them also but this TV gets at least 8 out 10 from me now that i have got it.0 -
I really am getting tired of all the dross on here. It was amusing to start with but is really quite dreary now. Maybe I've made my money, maybe I'm retired...who knows? At least I have tried to back up my opinions with links to other sites! Hardly any of the wanna-be Sherlocks on here have offered any kind of clue as to their expertise on the subjects they seem to be experts on. If someone turned round and said "Yes, I'm a corporate lawyer and these are the facts" or "I ordered the goods and paid by CC and now I've found they've taken double the amount out of my account" then it would be game over.
What's the point in renting a 6000 sq ft unit @ £23K a month plus business rates plus salaries plus employers NI plus, plus, plus!...if all you're going to do is sit in an office, wait for orders to come in from the web and disappear with everyone's money? Have you any idea how big a 6000 sq ft unit is? What would they fill it with...fresh air? I used to rent a 2000 sq ft unit in Epsom over 10 years ago and that used to cost me £25K a month and business rates plus overheads alone could kill you off, never mind keeping customers happy. They obviously have an account with Parcelforce...any of you that have any knowledge of B2B will know that Parcelforce would most certainly have done credit checks and set a limit of credit with them, especially with a start-up business.
Yes, a lot of things look "dodgy" and I probably wouldn't have ordered if I knew I would have to wait for a month but that doesn't mean that 2 + 2 makes 5.
Interestingly, I haven't been able to get through to them this morning and they do really need to get their act together but that doesn't mean anything particularly "dodgy" is going on. You're dealing with Mansion not Samsung, the TV's are cheap and (so far) so is the service. I'm happy with my goods, so my personal involvement is over but a lot of people on here are scare-mongering, which doesn't help other customers still waiting.0 -

Any issues with HDCP?0 -
Reply for KJEG.
No issues with HDCP, had picture from Sky box straight away via the scart but had to connect up the av connections to get sound. That was the only issue i had with the TV.0 -
Are you a corporate lawyer? What business experience do you have? Do you have documented evidence that can be referred to such as a website link?
The paranoia all gets a bit much, doesn't it!
I really don't think I can be bothered anymore!
No i am not a corporate lawyer, just like you are not, yet you make claims that state invoices must contain t&c, so where is your proof to back that up. You keep asking for this and that, yet you provide no proof of anything you say.
But if you want to read what an invoice must include then look here.

Guess what as well, your as anonymous as everyone else on here. But i am guessing you love the word anonymous, seeing as you like bandy the word about so much.
You haven't backed up anything you have said, a link to site that does not work and a tracking number that could be anything.
Good to see KJEG sent you your tv then jockeyMansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j0 -
I really am getting tired of all the dross on here...
If you 'are tired' then why are you still posting? You have received your TV, so move on. Goodness knows how they will administer any warranty claims.
Looking at the track record of the people involved, once they have sold enough units they will likely dissolve the company.
If you want a cheap 'disposable' TV, then you can take a punt.
It appears ludicrous that KJEG has taken such a detailed interest in defending this outfit.
A TV eventually being delivered is only part of the whole picture. The whole picture to me says stay away.0 -

Can you connect Sky with HDMI rather than SCART?0 -

The only reason I've kept posting on this very long, tedious and repetitive thread (which is thankfully a bit shorter now that the site moderators have deleted those posts where KJEG used "inappropriate language") is because of the tactic being used.
The plan seems to be to keep posting positive spin for the company - or anything non-critical for that matter - in order to push critical posts down the thread and out of sight on the thread's last page.
I don't expect that KJEG will stop doing this any time soon.0 -
Oh yeah his post count has dropped drastically, at least 7 or 10 posts removed.
Not sure if this was pointed out before, but mansion address is just an office space, which by looks of it is shared by another company. So if for some reason they stopped trading, then all you would get through to is an empty office. inspires real confidenceMansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j0 -
No refund today as promised....apparantly because their accountants only came in yesterday. This is despite recieving an email on last week saying I would have it within 3 to 5 working days, today being the 5th day.
I have been g'teed that it will be with me on Thursday. I think I have been "g'teed" a zillion times by a guy called Carl at Mansions, so I will belive it when I see it. Plus it took two hours of continuous ringing before they picked up the phone. And their voicemail is like a home voicemail not a company. Will let you know on Thursday.
The only plus I can give Mansions is everyone I have spoken to has been really nice. Still nice doesn't give me back 169 quid grrr or make up for the royal pain in th bum this has been!0
