  • Im really impressed by the reviews. The US reviews seem to show the unit with 3 hdmi sockets, though uk version only has one. wonder why they only give us 1? Doesnt seem fair! :) Is the only thing thats putting us off, will need one HDMI for SKY HD and another for the PS3 (when it comes out) and another for a HD DVD player.

Is there any cheap alternative to get round this issue of 1 hdmi slot, i.e. any cheap box of tricks etc? Not too clued up this stuff. So thanks in advance.

I thought there was also an option to pay using a credit card too I saw an option for it when I was going though the checkout proceedure.

Comment on here are staerting to worry me...When I spoke to them and looked on the site no mention of graded ! I thought it would be new, wouldnt they have to tell you if it was graded ?

I checked an Paypal will re emburse you up to £500 if the product doesnt turn up so thats even for this TV.

Is the 2 year or 3 year really a big deal ? My last tv has lasted over 12 years are we to assume there are going to be problems with this tv ?

'I checked an Paypal will re emburse you up to £500 if the product doesnt turn up so thats even for this TV'.

Where about on the paypal site does it state that they protect non ebay purchaces?

From Intekx website...'Intekx Ltd have been trading for over three years with ever increasing sales growth and customer satisfaction levels. Our specialist product range makes us just that... unbeatable specialists in what we do'.

Lmao he/she/they have been selling £5 pc games on ebay...

Whats the search facility for on there website? Theres hardly anything on it!!!
Why are they asking for your date of birth to register an account?

All sounds very suspect to me!
  • Not sure what's so suspect about selling PC games on eBay.....

I've ordered today but unsure whether "next day delivery" means "next business day", in which case it'll turn up on Tuesday (which is a bit inconvenient).

    Ho hum.

For this money, the TV looks sounds.

Anyone who's bought one have any feedback about SD quality?

    thats great guys thanks,

still dont know why they give more hdmi slots for the US ones, wonder why they feel we only deserve 1?

does these switchers switch the hdmi input automatically (bit like the old 'scart control' thing on our tv) or do we have to manually select the input to watch what we want.

    thanks again sal:)

Seen this posted elsewhere but it also applies to me so here goes. My centre speaker sits in front of my tv. If I buy this tv I don't know if the centre will be in the way of the screen

Can some kind soul who owns this set measure from the surface it sits on to the bottom of the screen and post the results.

    Menelaus

Because the speakers are below the screen on this TV you have an extra bit of height to play with.

Bottom of stand to bottom of screen surround is 7cm

Bottom of stand to where power button is located is 13cm
They promised the earth...and delivered mud. Technically though it did meet the spec.

nothing suspect at all - everyone who has bought one on here and avforums has been pleased with the service.
  • Dack thanks very much for the reply:j

I need to be really careful with this so if you can tell me what the distance is from the power button to the bottom of the screen I can add that to the measurement you gave and .....voila:T

Alternatively a straight measurement from the bottom of the stand to the bottom of the screen would be great.

    cheers:A
