I did the silliest thing this morning-posted and EXTREMELY important letter which needs to reach its destination by friday.......but forgot to put a stamp on!:o  any ideas on what I can do? I am so mad with myself for being so daft! (only I could do something like that!)

Does it have a special form or something you cannot replicate in it or can you just print it out again (or re-write it) and re-send it with a stamp?

**Huge hugs** to those who need it.
If any of you want or need someone to talk things through with, just send me a PM... I might be only 24 but unfortunately have been through a lot in my life. I'm now ridden with ailments and anxiety, but am also an excellent agony aunt!

Been out and about this morning... our pup is in the vets now, getting 'decaffeinated' so to speak! Hopefully we'll have him back late this afternoon, that or I'll be picking him up after counselling this evening!

Went to Asda for printer paper, then to M&S where I bought some nice goodies for tomorrow, anniversary card for sister in law and her hubby and had lots of chats with my old colleagues. Then I went to Sainsburys on the way back and saw that they had the silver MR fastbake on for half price.... they'd run out of stock however, but I might call them to ask if they can put me one by if and when they come back into stock. Just my luck!! In all that pallava I forgot to pick up the onion rings (which is what I originally went in to get!), but will be making HM ones instead, I'm sure they will taste much better!

A bit of tidying and jewellery making this afternoon I think xx

Good afternoon :) Just skimmed through and now I've got to rush off and mash the potatoes.
  • Huge hugs to CC Star and Csarina. You both sound like you need it.

Also to TM - hope it all works out for you and your family.

Churchmouse - welcome back!! Glad you had a great time away! Take a look at last Wednesday's (and poss Thur, too) thread - photos of the micro-meet.

I'm now sat in the office. DD and her friends should now have braved the rail system and be having lunch in York. I've booked table for 2 for tonight for our child-free evening. Tomorrow is the 20th anniversary of our *first date* so something to celebrate.

    Hello Everyone

Feeling very tired and a bit depressed. Taken to writing a diary again now to try and get everything out instead of bottling it all up inside

Made a banana bread last night with three bananas which were nearly about to be thrown out. Mum's friend came down to help look after her and Nan and she really helped out which was a huge relief.

After work, I've got a late appointment and then off to do the shopping

    Hope everyone's ok

thankyou, but it was a form they sent to us, OH has gone into the office today to ask for another 1 to fil out there and then-but no doubt they will say they have to post it out as it has information about us on!
it is the council too, so if it gets posted to them I know for a fact they wont pay!-they will just say that they haven't recieved form and will take action against us because they are horrible!
hopefullY OH will sort something out with them today!.....HOPEFULLY!

You hang in there. I don't know how you are doing it, I really don't. One morning taking my mother shopping does my head in. Any longer and I would be committing matricide!

Like natzini PM me if any of you need a sounding board. A little older (well a lot really) with a 22 year old of my own. DH of 33 years so maybe not very experienced on the breakdown front, but can always offer an ear.

Kyle, cooltrikerchick I agree it is a marvellous thought to be rid of a mortgage early, but it has to be viewed in concept of today. You need to live and be able to afford at least the basics when you MSE & OS. Maybe in the future you can nibble away at it, but worry about that when in a better position. cooltrikerchick I know it is not alway easy when money tight, but would you be better with a ordinary meter than the vouchers as I know it costs youmore for electricity with those?

ccstar and csarina thought are with you and hugs too, never easy.

Kyle Please pick up the phone and make the appointment with your doctor. One of my friends has had this and come through it so it is possible. You say you don't make friends easy but you have certainly made them on here, and there are so many lonely people out there who a smile is the only opening they need to talk and be friendly.

jellycat40 it must be hard on your OH not seeing his daughter more, is she old enough to use messenger? If so maybe he/you could talk to her on there, I find I am told more on there by my uni son than ever I am on the phone to him, they seem to be more talkative that way. Maybe as she gets older she will break the bonds with Mum, just keep the invites flowing so she know she is wanted and invited regularly.

Kyle - you are not alone out there. My sister suffers from the same thing, she can't even do supermarkets, my BIL has to do all the shopping, she recently made the brave decision to do a photography course, I have never seen her so happy and outgoing since she started this. Is there anything you have always loved doing that you could turn into a reason to get into social situations?
