Good Morning
Getting on here whilst I have the chance. (((hugs))) to Ticklemouse - I'll be thinking of you.
Am taking cat no. 1 to vet today for his flea allergy jabs as this is the time of year he suffers. Nothing else touches it, and believe me he's dosed with everything. Anyway he's only been out 1/2 an hour and he's just come back with a 6cm round raw patch under his chin/neck. Bigger than a £2 coin. I don't know if it's a bite or what but it looks nasty. Hopefully the vet will sort it this morning.
Another freeze meal tonight as I have time to prepare something.
Might get in the garden this afternoon and plant those daffodli bulbs
Have a worthwhile dayDoing voluntary work overseas for as long as it takes .......
My DD might make the odd post for me0 -
Morning All
(((Hugs))) to everybody whos down at them moment and especially TM hope it all works out for you and the house sale is swift and painless.
We ended up having a lovely day yesterday, my best friend called round and we ended up having a trip to a local National trust beauty spot called Formby Point. Its right on the coast and a Red Squirrel reserve, only spotted one squirrel though DD was delighted and kept saying "Hello Mr Squirrel" which had the people watching it in stiches. All it cost was the price of 3 ice-creams as BF has National trust membership.
The CB and CTC has gone into the bank so we are solvent again, later on we are going with SIL and her kids to a soft play center that i've never been to, not my favourite places in the world anyway I'll be taking a snack and drink with me.

Morning all.
Yes Kaz! (moggins salutes smartly)
Ticklemouse although I am saddened to hear your news I am not surprised. You haven't sounded happy for such a long time. I hope this is a fresh start that brings you great happiness.
This morning I have to ring the school to say DS won't be in again and then ring the doctors to find out what is going on with his health, although he's not really ill he hasn't been right in such a long time. Then I have to find a Valentines present for DH hopefully in our local high street! I wonder how he would feel about a lump of bacon? LOL. Then I have to ring Frenchay and tell them I can't make my appointment on Monday. This is known as delaying tactics but it's also true as there is no way I am dragging DD and DS down to Bristol with me.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Today i have to get the car back to the rental place. I didnt like it at first but by yesterday i had got used to it.I am not looking forward to being without a car again, and hope mine is sorted this week. I have loads of washing to do today. The dishwasher is on as i type.Hubby is cooking breakfast at the moment.Makes a nice change to be able to sit back for something.(But then again i have had the youngest three children whilst i was away so only fair i reckon.:D ) The rest of day will consist of a vain attempt by me to get housework done but i expect i will be back and forth looking at this thread.Have a good day everyone, Take care, Love Elaine.
P.S..Edited to say an especially big hug to Ticklemouse. You sound incredibly strong and I am sure you and your family will come through this ok. TM - Amazing how calm you can feel about things when you've made the right decision. Hope all goes well with telling the kids and the sale of the house....If you're anything like me, the day I left my ex felt like the world had been lifted from my shoulders and I achieved so much, mentally and physically from there on in.....(((Hugs)))
Hope the rest of you are feeling a bit brighter this morning. Sun is shining here and it's clear blue skies. Will have some brekkie and throw the hoover around abit before heading off for a nice squishy, squashy muddy walk across the fields.
Need to haul the sewing machine out this afternoon to do some alterations and make some underbed curtains for DD1s room, going to teach her how to use the machine as well.
Turkey and veg pie for dinner tonight with cauli and sprouts and mash.

Good morning everyone,
hugs to Ticklemouse, good luck to Gingham Ribbon, hugs to anyone else who's under the weather for whatever reason.
Well I slept better last night but throat is still at the ground glass stage and still light-headed, so it's another duvet day on the sofa for me!
I am reading a book I ordered with hristmas money - it's called Nourishing Traditions - has anyone else read it? So far it looks v interesting and quite OS too.
I'm off to have fruit and yogurt for breakfast then snuggle down.
Hugs
